If Spurs didn't buy in the summer, I can't see much happening in January, not unless they pick up serious injury issues. A few token purchases but nothing substantial.

As for United, unless they definitely want Mourinho for the next few seasons, I can't see them trusting him with a budget of any substance. Plus, I reckon the club believes he's already spent enough and should be doing better with what he has before giving into demands for more purchases.

I think Spurs’ lack of summer activity might make them more likely to make January signings.

Maybe, but it won't be anything special. Signing in January is difficult at the best of times.

Poch has been frustrated enough after a quiet summer window; this would be nice scenario for united fans hoping he becomes our next manager.

I personally don't think we need anyone until the summer when prices drop.

He’d be an excellent acquisition for you. He’s a very decent player, only 27 too. Hes obviously a back up squad player for us, which I doubt will suit him much longer.

I’m hoping come Jan or the summer we finally lose some players perm instead of loans like Markovic, Grujic etc. I doubt we’ll do much business Jan though.

It'll be Chilwell now he's on the international map.
On the outs, some blog (I think) talked about Andy King to Rangers and that's doing some rounds now.

Nearly a year ago so I’m sure you’ll be ok.

Just when you thought there was already an overabundance of morose Liverpool fans.

If that’s aimed at me then I’ve no idea why.

I'd be open to talking with psg about a potential deal involving sanchez heading to Paris and draxler or rabiot heading to old Trafford, whatever that looks like

There was nothing wrong with my post, so I have no idea why you aimed your comment at me or have started. So ok.
