Holding has not long returned from being out for 9 months.
Jesus, some luck you have!
At what point do you say it is less to do with luck and more to do with a questionable medical staff?
I am not poking at Arsenal here, but take a club like Bournemouth. Their injury record over the past year or two has been poor but I've seen Bournemouth fans criticise the medical staff there. Players don't get injured by chance really.
Bellerin too! Plus Tierney is out until March with a dislocated shoulder
I personally believe stuff like ACLs are just down to luck. Muscle or soft tissue injuries can be avoided but 9 times out of 10 a knee injury is done from an awkward fall. You can’t protect against that stuff
It does seem to hit certain clubs in droves though. I remember when everyone thought St.James’s park (other names are available) was built on an Indian burial ground.
Which’d be some feat.
Gonna see reports about Stones to Arsenal over the next few days. It’s only the Sun reporting it at the moment though.
Shares agents with Arteta which seems to be driving the rumour.
Mustafi is apparently talking to a few clubs and Atletico have enquires about Lacazette.
We have completed the signing of Jarrad Branthwaite from Carlisle United on a two-and-a-half-year deal.
The 17-year-old defender will link up with #EFCU23!
think its age related

I know he’s better than what you’ve got but i don’t see Stones as the answer.
If he’s better than what we have, he kinda is the answer. To be honest, the report only seems to mention a loan.
He’s a short term answer yes so a loan sounds better. Long term though you need to be looking for better quality.
A player who played his part in multiple league titles and one who is ideal for how our new manager wants to play, at a club firmly stuck in the Europa League seems like the right move to me.
I think we need to make ourselves a more attractive proposition to attract the required talent you think we need
You know your club better than I do, I just personally think if it was my club in the position of going to be aiming to get back in the top 4 and playing in Europe I’d not see Stones as a long term option. And I actually don’t think he’s ideal for the way Arteta wants to play either. The opposite in fact.
Well if he’s genuinely being linked, then obviously Arteta feels differently.
Well obviously and he’s the manager so my opinion won’t matter I just wanted to give it. I could always go start my anti Leicester shit somewhere instead?
Playing out from the back? He’s perfect for that role
Unless his ability to pass a football has completely disappeared
If he was good enough to be a main fixture in a side that won 100 points, he’s good enough for Arsenal!!!
Ultimately, it’s irrelevant as City have ruled it out.
Can Man City really spare him though? They have enough defensive issues without losing him too
