I agree, OP. Anyone who knew anything about football would know that Chris Cohen is the best player in this division. He is also the footballer who challenges the sexuality of the most male heterosexual Championship fans. He also scored the best team goal of the season at West Brom. He is also God.

Very poor decision. Surely Whittingham at Cardiff has proven how good he is?

ANyone got the list of the top 50?

It's clearly a typo, should be James Perch.

I read this in MATCH magazine. Nolan won't save your season newcastle fans.

Dorrans has the most assists with 17, and over 10 goals this season with most being penalties, I saw on some stat site that he was the most 'efficient' player this season (minutes to goals/assists ratio)...and he's only 22 - so definately the young player of the year.
The PLAYER of the year is still to be decided imo.

I've been hugely impressed with Graeme Dorrans too. I'd nominate him. But Nolan is our top scorer, and playing in midfield, that's going some.

But the season isn't finished yet. There's time for a few players to make the difference as to how it all ends up.

    17 assists already is impressive.

Kightly got 21 assists in this league last year and that was the most assists achieved by a player in the leagues history so Dorrans looks on course to better that.

I'm unreliably informed that Chris Cohen doesn't even make the highly reputable FourFourTwo's top 50 Football League players and is apparently an inferior footballer to numerous League One and Two cast-offs :rolleyes. So I'm struggling to muster much sympathy for all you guys wrangling over players being one or two places too low when people cannot even identify who is the best player at our football club.
