My word we are abysmal. Please for the love of god can we just bin Wellens off. There’s definitely issues at the club in terms of how it’s being run, finances, transfer strategy etc but the group of players we’ve got shouldn’t be rock bottom of league 1

We’re 11 games in and there’s still no sign of players finding chemistry or any kind of game plan whatsoever. I honestly think the football is as bad as it was under Dickov and that was god awful

congrats on the 3 points, as easy an away win as you’ll get all season! Two simple crosses into the box and two easy goals as a result  I honestly don’t think you got out of first gear all game

Wycombe deserved the win, they're good at what they do. Not a great "footballing" team though, but we all knew that anyway.

The ref on the other hand, having seen various shit refs at this level Sebastian Stockbridge is the worst of the lot.

He obviously didn’t have to make any big calls such as penalties but some of the decisions I was genuinely baffled by

I actually started laughing a few times in the second half because of how insane it was. Utterly shocking.

My personal favourite was when Ben Close beat their player to the ball and passed it out wide and the ref gave a free kick to Wycombe for no apparent reason

Also I don’t know what’s happened to Tom Anderson but he’s gone from league ones answer to Alessandro Nesta to looking like Dennis Souza. Williams is dreadful too

We were saving ourselves for Tuesday away at Rotherham, how the f*ck did you let soon to be 40 years old Akinfenwa score against you? Apparently he refused to celebrate his goal because he used to play for you but that was 17 years ago. :rolleyes

He also only played about 10 games for us  I did find the love in from our fans very cringey when he got subbed off

How he out jumped Williams I’ll never know!

I've been on crutches for the past 9 years and if Akinfenwa outjumped me i'd be embarrassed. Thank f*ck he's retiring at the end of the season as his dodgy knee has slowed him down and Ainsworth can't start him in front of younger and faster forwards or what's the point of signing them.
Don't get me wrong he's a club legend being our leading scorer since we joined The Football League with 55 goals but he should go out on a high and not become a laughing stock, i'm sure Sky will employ him as a pundit as they seem to love him.

Things don't ****ing change. Our defence is abysmal and Cook's substitutions are puzzling at best.

We've played all four promoted teams from last year and got 2 points. I really don't know where we are going.

Pretty boring first half, basically nothing happened. 2nd half was far better we scored a good goal on the counter and only restricted MKD to 2 shots on target. We just need to carry on and grind out as many wins as we possibly can, get to January not cut adrift and I can see us staying up with the signings we’ll make in January, seen as a lot of the budget has yet to spent.

    Can't be for much longer.

To compound the misery, the trains were ****ed after the game, so its taken me over 5 hours to get back via Sheffield

That was the day from hell, got in 30 minutes ago.

Check my phone and Adkins is still our manager, what an ending to the day.

I think our defence might improve when Walton is fit. Hladky looks very flaky to me, hopefully another keeper can bring a bit more organisation with set pieces etc.. I do agree about the subs, he hasn’t got that right as yet.

I think Ipswich need to persist with Cook for abit longer. He has a history of taking a while to get going but ultimately delivering on expectations. If your nowhere near the playoffs at xmas then I would agree it's probably time to get rid but you are at least slowly moving up the table.

Yeah, I agree although increasing numbers don’t. Being only 5 points off playoffs with 30-odd games to go isn’t a disaster, there’s plenty of time. However lots had their hearts set on automatics and that looks to be going fast. To keep chuckling away leads in a similar fashion is really frustrating though.

Great to get back to winning ways yesterday against a decent Accrington team.

I can't comment on the game because I was at my sister's wedding, but a win is a win nonetheless.
