Reports of homophobic abuse from the Tranmere fans towards the Wycombe goalie ?

Not good for them if the allegations are true .

We hosted England Under 20's friendly with Iceland last night which England won 3-0 watched by 1,390 fans.

Bit surprised there was a game when you are playing tonight - is the pitch ok ?

Pic i saw earlier showed it's fine, our ground staff often win awards for the pitch.

Out of every cup now :fail:Fair play to Tranmere's keeper who was motm but Ainsworth's team selection and substitutions were p*ss poor dropping 2 class defenders for players who are usually lucky to get a spot on the bench.

Are you massively disappointed though? Surely you’d rather concentrate on the league? I’m annoyed at the way we went out but not hugely disappointed about going out.

I am very disappointed as we'd get £74,000 for having the game live on BT Sport and if we had beaten Chichester we'd have got another £54,000 for reaching the 3rd round.
Still as you say we can concentrate on trying to keep our promotion push going but we have an awful run coming up playing Ipswich twice, Sunderland, Peterborough, Doncaster and a rejuvenated Portsmouth but we'll see where we are after that run. :shrug

Yeah I’m sure we made 250-500k last year by reaching the 5th round, even for league 1 clubs it is a lucrative competition

Well when you put it like that I suppose it’d make a world of difference.

    1. It wasn't a foul
    2. It wasn't taken from where the 'foul' took place
    3. The ball was moving when he took the free-kick

Not that I'm still bitter ;)

As for Doyle.... he just didn't fit in to our system. VERY embarrassing for us now the fact he's the top scorer in all European leagues but hopefully we either recall him and he continues his form, or we get a bit of cash from Swindon and improve the squad in January.

Whatever we do I don't care as long we're back in the promised land of League 1 come next year....

    He's banned today 5 yellows .

When we flog him for about £9-£13 million in January  or whatever amount our gob shite chairman reckons he's worth we'd take Doyle off your hands for £500 k .

Good luck with that long trip to Plymouth today , come back with a point & you're doing well.

    Had done a Trixie today
    3 doubles & a treble

    Ipswich Evens
    Rotherham 5/6
    Burton 5/2

Well done again Mowgli, great result.

As for us, I am embarrassed that we even equalised. We were absolutely abysmal. I did not celebrate the goal, I was just so pissed off with how we played.

Does anyone want Will Grigg in January? I’ll drive the f*cker to you if you want?

Yes, I and a number of fans wish we had kept him. I hate Phil Parkinson. He is the most uninspiring, dour man I have ever seen or heard in my life - and I’ve met @RM
