    Bradford
    Cambridge
    Carlisle
    Cheltenham
    Colchester
    Crawley
    Crewe
    Exeter
    Grimsby
    Orient
    Macclesfield
    Morecambe
    Northampton
    Oldham
    Plymouth
    Vale
    Scunthorpe
    Stevenage
    Swindon
    Walsall

Four of Mansfield, Forest Green, Tranmere, Newport, Salford and Fylde to join us. It's certainly not an appealing list and there aren't really any clubs who have a lot of financial power on there.

What's everyone's expectations for next season then??

I'd like to think we will be challenging for automatic promotion, or at the very least a playoff place. In Gary Bowyer we have a manager who has been there, done that and I think 95% of City fans are confident with him in charge. Our season can't be any worse than the one we've just endured, bring it on...

We're looking for a playoff push next season. That might sound fresh given the struggles we've had since promotion, but our form since Duff came in is playoff form and we'll definitely be looking to build on this in the summer.

Salford if they come up will probably have a bigger budget than most !

Which is one of the reasons I, and I expect plenty of others, will be cheering on Fylde this weekend...

I'm afraid that Fylde will also have a top 7 budget if they come up, just have to hope they don't adapt first season like Forest Green didn't.
Whoever comes up will be looking for top 7 first season up.

Hopefully we'll do better than scrapping along in the bottom 5 ALL season :fail:

Struggling to pick out an ‘exciting’ game for us from that list.

Obviously hoping that we challenge for promotion, preferably automatic and I imagine that will be the expectation for most at the club. Not a given that we’ll have a good season though; lots of duds from last season will still be around judging by our retained list announced today, whilst the genuinely good players (Carey, Lameiras, Ladapo) won’t have any interest in hanging around and it took us a while to get out of the division last time even after recovering from administration.

Let’s see who the new manager is before starting to make any early judgements. I have a little bit of money on both Darrell Clarke and Sol Campbell. Paul Hurst’s name has been mentioned a fair bit, which makes sense. Just praying it’s not Holloway. We need a pragmatic, young-ish manager with a point to prove, not the circus which comes with somebody firmly on the decline.

Isn't Exeter a big one for you boys?

You've missed out on Clarke and apparently Hurst is Scunthorpe bound... 3 good appointments by those that came down and can't see you lot getting somebody as good as Bowyer/Clarke/Hurst at this level

What are other clubs budgets roughly? Just come out ours last season was £4.1m :ashamed:ashamed:ashamed

Down to £2.6m this season, however £1.6m of that is covered by players under contract meaning effectively unless we move them on Bowyer only has £1m to play with.... Riley, O'Connor, Akpan and Wright can be the first to go :finger
