Now that more League 2 posters are making their way over from 1ff we’ve gotta have an away support thread so here it is.

Lincoln took loads there the other week.

Know it's your local derby but personally I feel sorry for County fans & also as a Posh fan don't think we've lost on out last 8 visits & 1 hour away always a bonus for an away day.

Fair play!! Should be a belting day out.

Is that normal or have the club made some kind of big push for that game?

Living in Nottingham this a fixture I'm going to have to go to. A few wings in Hooters & a couple of pints followed by a tasty derby, what's not to like ;)

We regularly take extraordinary numbers to Notts. A few factors come into play really...

It's easy to get to Notts from Mansfield, the Robin Hood Train line which goes through Mansfield only takes you to Nottingham or Worksop, so thats a factor.
It's a great day out, it's the one fixture a season that you can guarantee every man and his dog is up for going to, loads of great pubs, hooters for the wings. My old man is 67 now and his interest in football has dwindled, much to the point where he doesn't get to home games anymore, but for Notts County away he is there rain or shine, or incredible amounts of snow like last season.

It's a derby that is very much 2nd fiddle to Chesterfield for us. With Chesterfield, it's an intense hatred, no chance of drinking in the local boozers as trouble is guaranteed. With Notts being a much larger place, trouble is virtually none existent.

Our away following is among the best in the division.

Just wish we'd get more at home though especially now that we're doing well.
