We've signed Calum Butcher from Burton on a two year deal.

Considering we lost Leon Clarke and I was resigned to the fact we wouldn't replace him with anyone anywhere near the quality I'm delighted with the Vaughan signing, if we can keep him fit...

Marc McNulty having a medical over an apparent loan move. His record is decent tbh but doesn't seem Sheff Utd have fancied him. What's he like Blades?

His goalscoring record is good, definitely. However, three managers now haven't really thought he was up to it here which starts to bring questions about his attitude. Goes out drinking with his mates more regularly than he probably should.

He needs to improve his all round game, and apply himself a bit more but he knows where the net is. Get chances around the box and he will get you goals.

That is where we're falling short. We've got players who will work hard and are decent footballers, but not someone who will get in the box and finish off the countless chances we're creating.

Not good that he's apparently got an attitude problem but I'm sure McCall won't stand for that.

Sheffield United sign Ebanks-Landell on loan for the season. He's absolute dogshit. Just a big lumbering unit with no intelligence or ability at all.

    I think that's slightly harsh.

He's not good enough for the Championship but this is his level. He's very, very limited but should be OK as long as he's not required to do anything fancy.

We've signed Haris Vuckic on loan until January. Very pleased with this! Feel we've done some excellent business this summer.

Paul Anderson has also had his contract cancelled and he's joined Northampton.

We need a no nonsense, unit of a defender so hopefully it works out for us. I sincerely hope your judgement of defenders is awful @DunblaneWolf

We've also signed Danny Lafferty on loan from Burnley. It was much needed after the start Hussey has made.

Hope Fleetwood give our young striker a chance - certainly has a an eye for goal.

As for Sean Murray - very talented midfielder but does like the night life - what is that like in Swindon?

Bolton just announced Ameobi, Henry, Anderson and Alnwick. Would love us two to have a title race all season, with us winning it, Bolton being pipped to 2nd on the final day and losing in the play-offs. :)

Another one of our rejects to join you!!!

Very, very quick, but a little lightweight. Back up striker. Not fussed about losing him at all.

Have you forgotten about Andrew Taylor? :whistle

I don't know why we keep going for your players, I wouldn't mind if it was Clough or Vela, but not players like this. We've shipped out our young players and brought him in. Can't see him playing much if he does at all, which makes it pointless when we've got our own youth players who are capable of being 4th choice.

Does seem an odd move, he does get the odd goal, usually tap ins, but he has never been a regular starter. Id be concerned if I was a Wigginer, all the players moved over to you have been mostly failures for us, with the exception of the two keepers.

Woolery will at least know his way to the training ground.

I'm expecting us to struggle this season. After the end of last season I was optimistic but now after our summer I'm not and I think (hope) we'll just scrape survival. I think there's only Bogdan and ALF, mostly as a sub, from your ex players who'll play regularly.
