Waterfall comes in
Morris joins Wycombe
Probably our 5th choice central midfielder even if Nolan is gone, we have so many midfielders it’s unbelievable, very promising player but others have been better.
Best of luck to him.
Nolan and Nsiala join Ipswich
Docherty joins on-loan
Ollie Norburn Signs
Peterborough sign Ivan Toney for a reported £650k.
Who’s ScunnyMadAndy going to masturbate over now? Someone pass him a hankie.
Payne joins Rovers
Thank god for that influx of players on transfer deadline day. Oh wait....
Guess we're just have to have 5 on the bench for the foreseeable future.
Angol joins Town
What a busy few days, I think we’re done.
We've signed defender Jason McCarthy on a 3 year deal from Barnsley,f*cking well chuffed as he was superb on loan from Southampton during the 2015/16 season before he moved to Walsall, great work from Ainsworth in bringing him back and for an undisclosed fee as well, can't remember the last time we paid for a player.
I can’t remmeber the last time we didnt’t
We're used to being paupers mate it's part of being a Wycombe Wanderers fan
We’ve made a few bob today, Payne to BRFC, Jackson to ITFC, and Mac to Wycombe not signed anyone and only signed 3 players all summer, and let four go, add to that the Mawson money we must have made a really good profit this summer.
What was the sell on % for Payne? We bought him for £80k and sold for £275k.
Not sure but I’ve read 20% a few times today.
Max Power what a signing
Too overrated I’m sorry, there’s a reason Wigan didn’t mind him leaving. Can still see you winning the league though.
He was pretty poor last season defensively, didn't seem to know how to or want to stop crosses, looked ok going forward. That being said, it was his first season at that level and in a side who performed poorly overall. I was looking forward to seeing him in league one for us but I'm happy for him to leave if it means he furthers his career, as our 3rd manager in a row had deemed him surplus to requirements. Good luck to him.
On a different note, chuffed to have kept Bradshaw, Moore and Lindsey. Previous summer's they'd have all left for a pittance, so credit to our new owners for not letting that happen.
We were linked with Norburn as well as a few other clubs in League One. Sounds like a good signing, you’ve recruited well this summer by the looks of things.
To be fair, I know nothing about Power. He played a lot of games for Wigan last season so hopefully he’s got plenty of talent for this division at least.
Chief Exucutive Brian Caldwell confirmed in his latest interview we paid near to £600,000 out in transfer fees and broke our transfer record which was formerly £170,000 for Grant Holt in 2008. No idea which one though, maybe Norburn or Angol.
