How many bonus points does an unbeaten run get you? Enough to survive relegation to the semi-professional division?

LOL! What a ridiculous comment. Birds can’t mix it with men on a football pitch. One strong challenge they would be off the pitch quicker then you can say half price nails.

5 wins on the run and looking like a mid-table finish. Clarke has got us playing after a slow start. This season has been terrible, but at least its finishing well for us.

Shame you aren't a TV pundit who can be publicly shown up when you make a claim like that. Sadly I don't think the will is there to set up a match between you and your mates and a team from the WSL, so you'll just carry on believing that you'd win easily.

I’ve got mates that have played for professional football clubs. Even league 2 standard is above a WSL side. I will not have anybody say a woman’s team could beat a men’s side. It is just pure stupidity. They would find the game too physical and it wouldn’t even be close. Bore off.

I really cannot see us not getting the play offs now. I'd put money (wait, I have) on us getting to Wembley again as well, considering we've never lost a play off final in our clubs 117 years of existence*

*We've also never won a footy league play off final

Good idea that, I’ll write to the FA and see if we can have a bonus 10 points or something, should be enough to keep us up that.

Big week coming up for us if we've any chance of making the play-offs. Grimsby & Crawley H before the short trip to Harrogate. On paper it should be a nice easy 9 points but nothing seems easy in this league

Not related to the above, but a statement from Colchester's Chairman

    Robbie Issues Response

I like this bit from the article.

"I know many of you may consider me to be a lousy Chairman but I would like to think that you have found me to be an honest lousy Chairman."

    Rumours circulating it's a £30 million debt :eeek:laugh:

Surely not? How is that even possible in L2

Yes how does that happen ?

Who spends 30 million in the lower leagues!

Historical debt owned to an owner maybe.

Colchester have already made a statement to say that it's not them... so in all probability it is them, never believe anything until it's been officially denied... I thought it would have been Oldham.
