Big Yorkshire derby & for once left alone by SKY so a 3pm kick off, which makes a pleasant change. After last nights game we should be in a confident mood but as always these games can’t be predicted.

Assume Ayling is out so probably push Dallas to RB.

Hopefully with the rest a few of the 1sts had last night we will be fresh and ready for this. I always see this as out biggest Yorkshire derby we have.

We've a tough set of fixtures coming up so be great to start it with a win.

    Crazy innit ?

Prem is much more relaxed, apart from the weird kick off times, it doesn't feel like you're organising your spare time around football matches.

    Is this your year ?

Reckon the next 5 or 6 games will define it. We've some tough games which if we win will put us in a great position.

Some big ones as well. Forest, Brentford and Bristol in a row. That will tell us a lot.

Gotta say thought we were a credit to the Championship Monday out of said games think Brentford the trickiest if any Club is going push top two it’s them.

Agree Leeds were really impressive first half....but it’s like deja-vu.
Leeds play the same way...same tactics every match...dominate possession and create loads of half chances..rarely clear chances though but they consistently struggle to convert those half chances.
Also I’ve noticed that when opposition teams park the bus then Leeds really struggle to break them down.

My team also had really problems last season breaking down teams that defend really deep in numbers.
That’s actually one of the reasons where doing so well in the PL....teams don’t defend deep parking the bus against us.

Last season Wilder realised we had a weakness....so he went out and bought Gary Madine in January on loan.
He isn’t the greatest but was a fantastic weapon to use when teams defended deep in numbers.
We’d try and nice patient passing and struggle....then we’d try lumping it towards the penalty spot and Big Gaz would cause havoc.

Appreciate that Bielsa is supposed to be this fantastic tactician but he seems incredibly stubborn.
He’s tries his system over and over and refuses to deviate. He’s had the Leeds players long enough.

The Leeds plan A is fantastic but where’s the plan B or plan C?
Surely you would expect Bielsa to have learnt big lessons from last season....but I suspect he’ll try the same again.

It will be interesting to see how Leeds plan to strengthen during the Jan window....could be key.
Suspect you’ll be promoted though as there doesn’t seem to be any strong chasers this season.
Also wouldn’t be surprised if you have a decent season well clear of relegation and shock a few clubs who can’t handle your style.

The thing that’s letting us down and what has been letting us down since Bielsa took over is the final third difference the other night Arsenal 60m + players up front and when/if do go up we can cast the net for bigger fish, look how defensively we’ve tightened up this year with Ben White bringing extra quality. As for having a plan B or C do the Barcelona’s Man City’s change their game?other teams change their game to combat them, Bielsa obviously hasn’t got the personnel of those Clubs but his style of football is.

They do indeed it’s known as Bielsa Ball. The biggest problem is actually scoring. We dominate teams every game but just can’t score.

Is that because you're not creating decent chances or because your strikers are shite?

We don't finish chances, either from strikers or midfielders. I feel we need a number 10 more than a 9/Bamford replacement.
