The idea coming from Lampard that 'this isn't part of our culture' seems ridiculous. Frank Lampard played under Mourinho for a lot of his career, who has admitted that he's done this at Chelsea to no hysteria at all.

Yeah, it is a bit silly and obsessive but it is that weirdly obsessive quality that does make a lot of the top managers and give them the level of detail that seperates them from the general standard, and is one of the many differences between a Bielsa and a Paul Heckingbottom.

Putting the spying to one side for a moment what a f*cking performance last night from everyone in the team.

Best performance all season for me. Forshaw was superb and Alioski at LB is great to watch. Doesn’t stop for 90mins!

Well done to Clarke as well on his deserved MOM

I thought he was good but imo Forshaw and Roofe were better than him. Forshaw was everywhere and Roofe's work ethic was massively important to the way you were playing out from the back imo.

I agree with you mate Forshaw was my MOM I actually thought it was Clarke’s worst performance for us but was still brilliant.

Deserved it for all his work over the last few weeks and making the step up. If we don’t go up we’ll sadly lose him this summer.

Roofe has been great all season now that he’s playing in his favoured position.

    Ah right, fair enough.

If that was his worst performance for you I'd imagine he's going to be some player in the future, injuries permitting.

Man City are keen on him and a few other prem clubs have been looking at him. Be nice if he was playing for us in the premiership though.

Our academy lads who’ve stepped up this season have been fantastic and it’s down to them that we’re in the position we’re in. They’ve played a huge part for us.

Biesla is South American. The dark arts run in the blood down there.

Not surprised the big clubs want him. Just looked up his age: he's only 18 as well.
Yeah exactly. Not really surprising this

Agree Forshaw should have got it. Clarke was the “TV choice” because of the story - 18 year old on his first start, potential to hype him up etc

A friend of mine from Uni is a Leeds fan and he cannot talk highly enough of Bielsa - I've watched a few games myself this season and the energy and commitment from your lads is fantastic - I like watching you play. Tight at the top and I still think West Brom might pinch top spot but I'd be surprised if you weren't second certainly - is this Clarke any good? Being a City fan we are keen on him but I don't know a lot about him

He's an exceptional talent who's getting better by the game. He's up there with the best of recent times from our Academy such as Delph, Milner, Cooke, Lennon, Rose etc. He really needs to have more time as a regular first teamer at Leeds rather than warming the bench in the Premiership.
A question for your good self regarding Jack Harrison how highly respected is he at City ?

I like him personally but I don't think he will fit into Peps mould - however that doesn't mean he won't go on to have a great career, he just won't get in our side ahead of Sane, Sterling and Mahrez, and I don't think it's fair for the lad to be made to wait. Given a chance with a club, he could work wonders. Great with the ball at his feet and bloody quick feet too. Needs to get more consistent with his crossing but once he nails that, he's getting there

Well there is that aspect to it, I'm sure the EFL will overlook his little discretions though. Now who to believe ? Lampard it stopped the training session or Scott Carson the incident was over in a couple of minutes. Answers on a postcard addressed to :-

Have you been doing it the whole year
Tbh I don’t really see it as much of a deal. Quite funny tbh.
Saying that I hope you don’t get promoted.

Think the EFL are just paying lip service with their current actions.

Agree Bielsa’s behaviour isn’t in line with accepted British culture, one could harshly judge it as cheating but my view is that it’s nearer to gamesmanship, trying to gain an advantage., which many players and other managers have done over the years.

As there are currently no rules regards spying and Bielsa can quite rightly say its not uncommon in his native Argentina.
Surely, all the EFL can do is slap him on the risk with a warning, saying don’t let it happen again.

Don’t think there’s even the smallest risk of fines, suspensions or points deduction.
However it is a distraction and slightly negative publicity towards LUFC, suppose there’s a small chance it might have an effect on Bielsa’s mental wellbeing and stability. He might think the UK media are targeting him resulting in him walking out.
