Carabao Cup: Liverpool 'not able to play' quarter-final unless fixtures change
All top teams should ignore this cup anyways. Let the youth teams play.
Klopp will stop at nothing to get Liverpool out this competition
Club World Cup is a pain in the arse.
Meh. The club has never won it and so should give it a go. All two games of it that is...
Not a problem play their first eleven in the World Club game and the second string in the League cup game , like that's not what was going to happen anyway.
Just give the trophy to Man City and lets all move on..
Yeah and we can become even more unbearable being the official best side in the world
Fine, forfeit the fixture and whoever they get will have a bye.
Course they'll bend over backwards for the big sides.

Even more so if they get Colchester or Oxford.
Might be a rare chance for Everton to beat Liverpool!
Absurd fixture build up. Shouldn't matter regardless as we need to play the youth for the league cup. I wouldn't play a single first team player this time other than Lallana, maybe Keita and Shaq if he becomes fit
"If they don't find a place for us, an appropriate place, not 3am on Christmas Day, then we don't play it" - Klopp
Tbf that is an absurd fixture list they have coming up. Its not their fault the club world cup date and league cup dates have clashed. So shouldn't be any complaints if it is moved for them imo.
And anyway, the Saturday before they have us and they could play their kids in that one too. Will still win.
They should withdraw from World Club Chamoionship.
I remember the furore when we didnt play in FA Cup years ago.
Domestic comp should have precedent over a trophy nobody values.
Obviously the Club World Cup is bigger for the LFC "brand" so they will chase that one.
Ah yeah the world club cup. Such a pointless tournament.
It's partly why I find the 'winter' break a bit daft. December and January are the busiest months in the calendar window and probably the coldest months to play in too.
If you have a League Cup run it really adds to a congested schedule.
Everyone gets a break in February but by then the likes of Liverpool have already played 30 games or however many it is.
I can't imagine Villa will mind if they pull out of the competition.
If FIFA are asking Liverpool to honour the Club Cup, UEFA request they honour CL games, the Premier League are asking them to honour league games, the FA are requesting they play FA Cup games in January onwards... surely what the Football League requests is naturally fifth in that pecking order?
Then treat it as such and pick a side comprised entirely of youth players.
Don’t even know what the club World Cup is.
Managed by who? All the Liverpool staff will be in Doha 16th-22nd December...
