Don't cry son, it's only a game.
this game is the epitome of why Brendan will never get a job at another "big 6" club again, started with wrong tactics then takes an age to change it and leaves it too long
I'm not I'm being critical of a player doing badly yet again, you decided to stick you're ore in like you have a clue
Can't understand why Jones didn't pass to Origi who was in acres of space on the left.
No need to thank me
Be fair, his hands are slightly tied. I said before the game against the top sides with the position we’re in personnel wise he’s going to have to make a decision on the 3 at the back or the 4141/4231/433 whatever, sometimes it’ll pay off, others it won’t. When we’re all back fit and he can make a decision on the best set up with no excuse that’ll show if he’s got it in his locker. We’re still doing well.
Never in doubt.
To be fair mate, we were superb tonight, no tactical change would have stopped us, 3-0 flattered you in truth.
Great result the back 4 was solid & Jones had a great game.
I dunno, I think if Evans doesn’t put that bullet in to cash in at paddy power we go on to win that 6 or 7 nil.
Good win. Thought Bobby was excellent. MOTM for me.
Excellent performance all round. Great stuff.
I think Rodgers will get another chance at a top 6 club.
Near enough to a faultless performance today, which is impressive considering the players out.
Defence was brilliant. Jones came in and put in a mature performance. Milner was great, in both positions. Front three a constant threat, especially Jota.
That puts things into perspective. Leicester still far off title challengers.
Bobby or Milner for me.
Evans and Fofana would be a fine CB pair, Thomas and Justin would be fine as traditional full backs Under is a right winger, we had the options he just didn't use them, Tielemans was running on empty yet he stayed on and took off Barnes who was one of our main threats.
Also if Iheanacho isn't demanding a transfer I will lose all respect for him, can't even get minutes in a game like this where we were chasing the game but only used 2 subs you just aren't wanted
Robertson too was superb and Jota.
One of those games were you cant really single out players.
Curtis Jones is progressing really well. Just when we needed it. Could turn into a hell of a player.
I know what you’re saying but if he starts that and we lose, then everyone questions why we didn’t set up like against Citeh. Or are you talking an in game change?
Some knee jerk stuff. Not convinced by the line-up, but you can't blame Rodgers for that one.
We got thumped and taught a lesson by the better side. No shame in that. No side or tactical choices Rodgers would have picked would have made much difference. Sometimes better players than you, all performing to their best ability are always going to be you regardless. And some games you just have to hold your hands up.
We're still on course for having a great run in the Europa League and we'll definitely be challenging to qualify for Europe through league placement again.
