Wouldn't it be great if we do to Everton what we did to the Russians last night? We've had couple 4-0 wins against them in recent years but it'd be beautiful to properly smash them. Obviously i'd take a scrappy 1-0 win right now though tbh. You just know Sam is gonna be so desperate to get a result to get fans on side.

    2-1 Liverpool.

Time for Everton to roll over and have their belly tickled again.

Not beat Liverpool in last 14 attempts. :eeek

Not won at Anfield this century.:eek

Won only twice at Anfield since 1987 (2 wins in 33 games).

    get to **** Everton.

I obviously want Liverpool to win and to win well, but at this point I’d be happy with a draw and NO injuries. Everton generally do their best to injure our players, and add Allardyce as manager to the mix and it’s a recipe for disaster. Hopefully we can rest Salah, Mane and Coutinho and still get a result.

I wouldn't be happy with a draw, I'd be quite pissed off if we draw this game.

No resting for the big guns, we need every bit of firepower and would love nothing more than giving them an absolute hammering.

I just hope our players have reinforced shinpads for this game.

Would love to carry on our fantastic goal scoring and hopefully we smash them for 4 or 5, won't happen though, think it'll be a tighter game than normal. 1-1 or a 2-1 win for us.

Best thing you've ever posted :)

Of course I want the win too, and with our form we should go for the win but I just don’t want any injuries. If we end up losing one of our front 4 for any period of time with the amount of games we have coming up it could seriously stunt our momentum. That’s why I’m quite weary of Everton, I get them impression they often see hurting us as some sort of mental win for them.

Its not an impression mate, its an absolute fact. I think they'd rather see a couple of our players stretchered off with long term injuries than actually win the game.

Don't know why Sky make such a fuss over this fixture, has to be the most one-sided derby in the UK.

I wonder who Everton will injure this time. Might be wise to install rubber bumpers on Salah.

Dunno why but I’m really nervous about this I suspect Big Sam will have a game plan and he is the last manager to win at Anfield.

    Heart says 7-0

    Head says 7-1

    Didn't expect that

However, it is Everton so I'm sure it'll be fine. That bench is ridiculously strong as well.

Play your strongest team from the start and THEN rest your big name players if neccessary. Fair play if it works but this amount of changes feels like we're trying to grind out a result from the off instead of just blasting them away. With our form of late I see no reason why we wouldn't have obliterated them. Hope this doesnt spectacularly backfire. I'm feeling way more nervous than I was.

With that bench though he certainly has the options to change the game entirely. Serious bench that.
