Icing on the cake i think its called
Not winning from here would be just a 3 game swing. 8 points is a lot but 30 games to go, it's too early to talk about anything title related other than us being in the driving seat.
I hope Liverpool start losing or else this season is going to be as boring as Ligue 1 usually is.
Just like Norwich, Wolves fully deserved that, but unlike the Norwich game, we never got going today. Could have played another 90mins and not scored we were that bad.
Yes, it makes people think you are a United fan...
Anyways, Wolves did a huge favor to Liverpool, City were unlucky, but they should not have rotated that much...
In the words of a 48yo male (my father), who saw his bet fail due to City's woeful performance: ''City, what a ****ing team''...
well thats a shocker.
wolves caught them on the break twice. City losing at home is virtually unheard of.
You were saying , never mess with an O'Neill feeling
Nah way too early to be calling bottle jobs mate. You need at least a third even half the season to be gone before you do that, too many variables that can go wrong with form, injuries, other competitions, etc. Win the next two games though and City possibly drop a point or two we'd be looking extremely healthy and would put huge pressure on City.
No chance of that. City are way too good to fall that far behind. We will drop points thats an absolute certainty. Two games against top 6 sides after the international break will be a test.
Just trying to hook Mullers in to be fair lads!
But deep down you must be thinking that if it doesn't happen here when you're on this sort of run then you may as well turn to rugby or something!
Deep down I'm thinking this could be our year, as opposed to past seasons we have picked up the habit of winning when not playing that well, plus City just don't look as unbeatable this season. But it only takes 2 or 3 draws and a City run like they had last season to change things. If this gap stays the same when we play City and we don't lose that game I'd be chuffed.
Bottled it last year, still enough games **** it up this year.
In what universe is a Yanks take on football relevant ?
Especially as every time they look like dropping points, they get a lucky deflection, the opposition misses a sitter, the goalkeeper throws it into his own goal, or they get a penalty. All positive signs the league is finally theirs this year.
Yeah Rangers and Liverpool fans two of the nicest bunches you are likely to meet in football.
How sweet of you to say x
I spent 20 years seeing United do this as you say, champions always have a habit of winning things when perhaps not deserved. That being said, we should have had most these games wrapped up...Leicester yesterday for instance.
Except we didn't bottle it which you'd know if you looked at our finish. Yours was simply better. Still, don't let that stop you changing the habit of a lifetime by talking shite.
Well if you say so then it must be true
