And it's down to the manager to "manage" that situation. Going down to 10 men, 1-0 up, with an hour to play and losing 2-1 to a side levels below us respectively, is just not good enough.

Chelsea went down to 10 men at Anfield and Tuchel took control of his teams shape and tactics and got out of their with a draw, earned his salary that day. That's the difference.

so i guess Tuchel was out sick this day:

Every match is different, Lingard literally gifted them a winner 30secs before the end, without that united get out with a decent draw away from home.

This tripe from the manager who insisted we keep Martial in the summer and keeps playing him.

It might be yet, Switzerland have re-introduced strict Covid measures.

Manchester United's Champions League tie against Swiss side Young Boys at Old Trafford on 8 December could be moved because of Covid-19 restrictions.

Concerns around the new Omicron variant mean anyone entering Switzerland from the UK has to isolate for 10 days.

Governing body Uefa is seeking clarification over whether that would apply to the Young Boys party.

If so, then Uefa rules state a neutral venue should be found, though the game could be moved to a different date.

United have already qualified as Group F winners but Young Boys could still secure a place in the Europa League if they emulate their victory over the Premier League side in September.

If the game was moved, it would cost United millions of pounds in lost gate receipts.

Switzerland is among a number of European countries to reimpose coronavirus restrictions amid a surge in cases across the continent, with sporting events also impacted.

It's an opportunity to rest some players whilst having a look at some others. I'm hoping for no Maguire, Ronaldo, Fernandes and maybe a couple of others, and I'd like to see a chance for Van der Beek, Amad etc. etc.

I'd like to see Diallo given a start in this game.

The one dead rubber game we have where we could actually afford to give him a run out, and he can't play because he's not registered in the Champions League squad for the group stages

Truth be told I'd rather play a youngster for the experience, but still.
