Henderson won't be playing with DeGea looking back to actually being a GoalKeeper again.

Telles Left Back and it's obvious Lindelof will be playing if Jerry is not fit.

Ronaldo will be up top and not on the wing.

Lose this and go on to go out of the Group stages, I wonder what the board will be thinking.

The defence is going to be interesting tonight with both fullbacks and Maguire missing. The priority for Villarreal will be a clean sheet so I hope Solskjaer doesn't feel the need for his favourite back six formation.

I may not go to this tonight, it's cold and very wet and the last four performances have depressed me. :(

Haven't seen the De Bruyne tackle but I heard it was a shocker. As for Wan-Bissaka I thought he'd got a 3 game ban anyway, as he would in the League.

I thought it was an automatic 3 match, too, but it sounds like it wasn't. Either way, it's bs

    I'd go with

    DeGea

    Dalot Varane Bailly Telles

    McTom VDB

    Sancho Bruno Jess

    Cavani

I think the back 6 is almost a certainty - with a back 4 of Dalot, Varane, Lindelof and Telles, there's no doubt in my mind he'll want Fred and McTominay to try and shore it up. The only uncertainty to me is who he'll play on the wings - Sancho right and Lingard left would be my choice, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's Pogba on the left again.

De Gea, Dalot, Lindelof, Varane, Telles, McTominay, Pogba, Fernandes, Sancho, Greenwood, Ronaldo

    That's the line up.

Ole is looking for blood, hopefully Pogba is disciplined tonight or we're going to get exposed.

EDIT; damn Tornado beat me too it.

McTominay is always so shit at offering himself for a pass to help progression, he always ends up cover shadowing himself and its his biggest weakness currently imo.

    They should be 1 up.

They've created all the good chances so far. It's a struggle defensively for Dalot and Telles and we're not compact enough to dominate possession and territory to mask the deficiencies

It's a big problem that Bruno has to drop back to the rb position to pick up the ball.

Bruno and pogba are pushing up way to high when we're in possession, there's 0 compactness and we're also hopeless at progressing the ball forwards. We really miss Shaw

Dalot really isn't doing himself any favors so far
