    Composing my thoughts now:

    - Poet’s midfield trio are assuredly better defensively and will screen their defence more effectively/support their fullbacks.

    - TA’s midfield trio has superior creativity and will likely have more of the ball.

    - TA’s attack is more suited to counter attack, while Poet’s has more tactical versatility (with Messi and Ronaldinho also being creative).

    - I think Poet slightly shades the winger vs fullback battles:

(Messi vs Marcelo, Ronaldinho vs Cafu) > (Jairzinho vs R.Carlos, Rivaldo vs Zanetti)

    - I prefer TA’s CB partnership. But both CB partnerships will be undone my Ronaldo/Romario respectively.

Like to contest any of these points?

TA's midfield has no balance. I have a DM + playmaker pairing. ADS also one of the most complete AM of all time. Just no contest in terms of defensive and physical battle in midfield.

Ronaldino + Messi more than makes up the creativity gap in midfield, and I have way more goals in my team. My players outscore TA's in every position of the front 4.

    GG.

Mauro Silva and Tiago Silva are not regular all time xi players. They are what lets his team down. Ronaldo as the focal point is another strength for me, I thought he'd have gone for batistuta in that formation.
