I'm not so sure, the squad's ****ing abysmal and he's already said don't expect anything in Jan. I wouldn't care if he left, that said I doubt we'd get better.
Carlos has been alot more pragmatic on the road in response to your post about the game last night NottsPosh. He was tactically naive last year and got alot of pastings, Hudders are playing good stuff at home but are like most sides in this division away from home are quite pragmatic and cynical these days which is probably why they didn't look anything special last night . Carlos set up in a similar way and ground out a 0-0 at Luton a few weeks back after outfootballing Blackburn the game before. It's horses for courses with him these days But it's getting results for them and they'll be there or thereabouts come the seasons end
We are away to Cardiff. Totally forgot about the need to show vax passports etc to get in. I am not going anyway but I wonder how many fans didn't/don't know and make the trip. I have no idea what will happen. We are so out of form at the moment but Cardiff are/were pretty terrible this season. But they have a caretaker manager so they might be totally different to the Cardiff of a couple of games ago. We started the season so well away from home but since then, we have lost back to back. Our away form since beating Boro is Reading - 3-3 Bournemouth - 2-1 WBA - 2-1 Fulham - 4-1 Peterborough - 2-1 so not looking great! Probably a Cardiff win tonight based on that.
I'm hoping Barnsley can have a caretaker manager bounce tonight, Up The Tykes! Sent from my 6025H_EEA using Tapatalk
It had completely passed me by had you sacking your manager with all the furore over Newcastle/Spurs jobs, I presume you're not displeased? who are you hoping for to take over?
wow, did not expect that result tonight, Bournemouth unbeaten, PNE not won away all season, what a result!
Really poor challenge, I mean, what the Van Hecke?! Worst home defeat in the clubs history there tonight. Summary: dreadful.
Great win for Barnsley, if they start playing how they should then Cardiff are in real trouble. The bottom 5 are starting to get cut off from the rest of the division.
Fair play to Preston, sounds like they executed a gameplan well. We never beat them though...never have any season we've been in the same league in the past decade.
Not displeased no lol. On the game tonight, fully deserved the win and were battering Derby, my only bugbear was us deciding to defend for last 10 minutes plus 5..We ought to have kept going at their ancient defence...We should have had a penalty as well which Kevin Friend bottled. If it wasn't a pen he should have booked Styles for diving....he didn't btw.....unlike Ebosele, who seems to play in roller skates not boots.
Preston definitely our bogie side. Some superb shithousery from them tonight and why not, you have to expect that. Ref did us no favours but that's how it goes sometimes. The draw was there for us to bank. We were poor from the start yet we'd managed to salvage an equaliser. Parker in his first error as Bournemouth manager went for the win when we had no right to do so, and lost the game. It was always gonna happen at some point. All about the reaction now.
The Blackburn score tonight is a symbolization as to how uncompetitive the league has become, and unfortunately it's only going to get worse if the parachute payment system continues to be so lopsided, there's teams going up not bothering to compete in the PL because they know there's a safety net of £100 million coming their way ffs. Great result for Preston tonight, it makes me more concerned about Saturday. Preston fans are you still wanting the PE teacher out etc? It seem's he's doing a solid enough job to me
It's amazing how many times a team score an absolute shed load of goals & then fire blanks in their next game , I hope .
This Fulham team is not reality though it's a championship all star team funded by the horrible parachute payment system you will do well to keep them down to 4 goals
