Can't tell if it's the years of weed, alcoholism or the onset of CTE but that interview was a difficult watch.

I'd guess a combination of the three. Alcohol and weed addiction can't be great for dealing with CTE.

Yeah he really doesn't sound right or look right in that. There is something wrong with him imo.

Imo probably the CTE. both him and his brother could have problems when they are older. Not seen the interview, but thought he looked a mess at the weigh ins. Maybe he is just looking older

Its probably time for him to call it a day. He's only 34 but been at it since he was a teenager, and fought at UFC standard for most of his career fighting top guys, and his style seems to turn most fights into wars. I hope the UFC look after him and his brother if they do have health issues.

Ben Askren retired. Bit of a shock but needs hip surgery.

gonna miss his striking. And this is against a guy who also has terrible kickboxing

as funny as it was seeing him knocked out in 5 seconds, he does seem like a decent fella. Honest, non delusional and likeable. Horrible fighting style though

McGregor vs Cerrone confirmed for January. Was hoping for Gaethje tbh but this should be a decent fight. Glad Cerrone is getting a big payday.

Conor says he wants to fight 3 times next year. Will we finally see the return of the fighter and entertaining sportsman over the embarrassing spectacle he's become recently?

The sort of fight I was expecting McGregor to take, one he'll definitely back himself to win and from there be can potentially get some hype for a huge fight.

Delighted for Cowboy, financially this is huge and a great opportunity but I do think McGregor will exploit his weakness at getting hit to the body.

    Good card tonight.

Only fight I’m not bothered about is the main event. I want Colby to lose, but don’t care for either fighter or their fighting styles

I Love watching Nunes fight. I think she’ll have a harder time in this rematch
and Volkanovski vs Holloway is an absolutely cracking fight.

I think all of the champs defend their belts though

I reckon both aldo and faber are gonna get beaten up and knocked out tonight.
Gonna be tough to watch as a fan of both. I also quite like both guys they are fighting

Showing his true colours by blaming MMA’s best ref for his loss. Pathetic c***!
I enjoyed the finish as much as Diaz over Conor, Nunes over Rhonda, and almost as much as bisping knocking out rockhold

I think he does it for show in fairness and knows what he's doing.

This came out earlier in the week, incredible athleticism with the cartwheel then the other guy does a crazy back-take.

The MMA gods have a sense of humor breaking his jaw too at the hands of an African immigrant. Would have only been better if it were a black-Mexican-Muslim who did it, but this was nice too

This was the first UFC event I have watched for a while so didn't really know too much about the fighters. Really enjoyed the main event as it is easier for me to follow a striking match rather than with many take-downs, more entertaining for me too.

Was surprised Holloway lost but I reckon he gets an immediate rematch and will do better in it.
