yeah I’ll stay up for this one. I rarely stay up till 5am nowadays. I may do next weekend for wilder vs fury, and definitely will for tony vs Khabib.

I actually quite like the card as well

Can't wait for these fights on Saturday, build up has been great.

The two title fights should be insane, but also really looking forward to seeing Sean O'Malley back in action, he's definitely got the potential to be a future star.

Backing Izzy and Zhang to both win by KO.

yeah I think theyll both win. However I wouldn’t be at all surprised if they both lose, especially Zhang.

Adasanya is a great fighter but his striking isn’t on prime silva a level and he is much more hittable. I think he’ll get beat at some time soon. He won’t be as dominant as silva

One of the best fights I’ve ever ever seen.

    Zhang robbery on the way.

Edit: Good to see. My mind is obviously tarnished from boxing lol

That main event was horrendous. Probably the worst title fight since Silva vs Maia.

End of the Dariush fight was nuts though and JJ vs Zhang fight was epic.

Looks like Kevin Lee is still due to fight Charles Oliveira, all be it behind closed doors. Might be the only real sport on this weekend.

    Jon Jones arrested ... again.

Dana White's making himself look like a tit as usual as well, he's against all measures being put in to stop the spread of the virus, and asked "what happens when flu season comes against next year?". Well no, there won't be any social distancing needed Dana, because we've got a vaccine. Anyone using the flu as some sort of comparison to justify the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people is either completely thick or needs there heads checked.

He's also come out with the belter, 'it’s like hiding from cancer, you can’t hide’. I don't think the leading world health experts would agree with him, but thankfully even if his mate Donald isn't that foolish.

Jones is an utter scumbag. If he was a mid card guy he would have been buried years ago. He's had enough chances now. Sack him off.

We knew it. That fight deserved better than how it would have turned out anyway.

UFC 249 still going ahead, April 18th. The location has still not been revealed, but Dana White has said it's been secured for the next two months so they'll be rolling out fights there from April 25th as well.

He's also said they've secured a private island to have international fights on

This is the fight card for next Saturday, it looks significantly better than the last couple, in terms of strength in depth. I've got no idea why Ngannou-Rozenstruik is on the prelims, whilst Greg Hardy is on the main card but there we go. I'll certainly be tuning in from the first fight, so doesn't matter too much.

    Main card

Tony Ferguson vs Justin Gaethje (Lightweight)
Jessica Andrade vs Rose Namajunas (Women's Strawweight)
Greg Hardy vs Yorgan de Castro (Heavyweight)
Vicente Luque vs Niko Price (Welterweight)
Jeremy Stephens vs Calvin Kattar (Featherweight)

    Preliminary Card (ESPN)

Francis Ngannou vs Jairzinho Rozenstruik (Heavyweight)
Ronaldo Souza vs Uriah Hall (Middleweight)
Alexander Hernandez vs Omar Morales (Lightweight)
Marlon Vera vs Ray Borg (Bantamweight)

    Preliminary Card (UFC Fight Pass)

Michael Johnson vs Khama Worthy (Lightweight)
Sijara Eubanks vs Sarah Moras (Women's Bantamweight)
Ryan Spann vs Sam Alvey (Light Heavyweight)

Some drama this week, UFC 249 is now off.

They tried to schedule the event in a tribal casino in California, as Native Americans don't have to follow the same laws as the rest of the state

ESPN and Disney saw it as a particularly bad look for the company, for a whole host of reasons, and asked Dana White to postpone the event.

Ufc 249 this weekend, and as much as I think this is a bad idea I'll definitely be watching and its a great card.

Really rooting for Tony, will be watching from the first prelim.
