Key word here is away shirt, this is the home shirt, that is not our badge, we are both agreed that this is does not look like a Watford shirt and possibly nor should it be a Watford shirt, in my opinion it would be passible with the Watford badge (and hooped socks if we are going to make it look cool) not what we have on it now, are you really more bothered about the colour red on the kit rather than the badge being changed? To be honest its looking pretty much like that Nani and Duxbury picked the right club to control and sell off to the Pozzo's because for the most it looks like the majority will just go along with anything.
The kit looks ok, but with the correct badge it would look very good. Having a sponser on the back as well as the front will completely ruin it though. Also, if they are going to abolish the red there will be a lot of 2nd hand plastic seats for sale soon!
It's not like we have completely changed the badge and changed our identity. For instance we haven't swapped out a traditional bluebird for a red dragon and changed our kit to red... I like our new kit, the lettering on the back won't be black.
Or 3. It's just a bad kit. I don't like the kit and it doesn't look like a Watford strip but to claim it's an attempt to destroy the heritage of the club is laughable in the extreme. It's a bad design - simple as. Your paranoia knows no bounds sometimes, conspiracies everywhere with you.
add a collar, black bands on either arms, replace the big black kappa logos down the side with two small white ones on the shoulder and voila! a new kit.....still looks no different though didnt expect it to
Not just saying it cos its your lot but that kit is absolutely abysmal.....the collars are fooking horrendous
Nike supply some of the biggest clubs and nations in football, we'll be way down on their priorities and we're always going to get a standard template. I personally like it, I usually do when we go for an all red shirt though, wasn't a fan of last seasons offering.
