Could do with winning this especially as their best defender is out. Unfortunately we do better when we can hit teams on the break, were not so good when we have to take the initiative in games.

    Patricio
    Boly
    Coady
    Saiss
    Doherty
    Jonny
    Moutinho
    Dendoncker
    Traore
    Jimenez
    Jota

Boly and Bennett both out. Rumours that Boly has broken his ankle.

Vallejo is no sort of option, so Donck or Kilman I suppose.

Losing Boly is a huge blow. Been our best player so far this season for me and we don't have anywhere near the same quality to replace him.

Huge blow but it's not worth pantwetting over in terms of tomorrow, we're playing a side who've scored six league goals all season and I have faith in a Donk Coady Saiss backline can do a job in the short term and then when Bennett returns Donk goes back into the midfield. Also an opportunity for Kilman.

We saw from City away that they simply can't replace Laporte and nor can we Boly so any "should've signed someone!!!111" can do one.

Doherty and Jonny have to start for me - with a lesser used back three we need our most reliable wingbacks.

    Midfield and attack pick themselves.

I'll be very surprised if he plays Dendoncker in defence I think he's played one cup game there at most in his time at Wolves. It will be Kilman or Vallejo.

He went there when Boly was sent off at City didn't he? Did ok too given City needed a penalty and deflection to gloss their victory.

Yeah think he played some of that game there and one of the cup games. He starts at the back today anyway so will be interesting to see how he does.

Our front 3 looks good and will be disappointed if Neves and Moutinho lose the midfield to the Longstaff brothers

Newcastle 1 up with their first real effort on goal.

Wouldn't be surprised if it stays like that.

Poor tackle that from Longstaff think he knew straight away it was a red though.

    1-1 in the end.

Newcastle will rue that keeper error but Wolves deserved the point.

They nearly nicked it at the end (again...)

We were by far the better team second half. Absolutely dreadful first half.

Nuno's ****ed it there I'm afraid.

Should've been 3-4-3 from the start instead of messing about with Doherty at RCB.

Over 90 minutes that second half set up wins fairly comfortably IMO.

Agree with you there, Doherty was awful!

Brucey didn’t help with his reluctance to make substitutions, Joelinton looks a massive flop.

Fernandez would have been sent off for that 'challenge' if he was playing rugby, so who knows how it hasn't even been looked at by VAR.

Should also have been a pen right at the end with Doc being pulled everywhere.

As ever, we were absolutely dire in the first half and good in the second.
