He's not starting at the moment, as in the main, he's not been very good at all. No goal or assist in the last 19 PL games isn't anywhere near good enough. He's supposedly concerned about not getting in the Spain squad, but he's got no chance of that anyway unless he starts delivering again.

Yeah Traore isn't starting because apart from the odd moment he's been pretty poor this season.

He hasn't scored a goal since January, with Jimenez out and needing to spread the goals out more you can't really afford to be having a player with that meagre output.

Weird because he seemed to have added that productivity last season and it’s disappeared again.

We're being linked with Eric Garcia.

If he does leave you, i very much doubt it will be to us (we're unlikely to spend this window, plus have loads of wingers anyway). Arsenal might not be a bad move all round, he's the sort of player they don't have.

Rumours of Atletico being interested in Maitland-Niles after Trippiers ban.

    1. Who should Man Utd buy?
    2. Who should Liverpool buy?
    3. Who should Arsenal buy?

Are you serious or just trying to offload 2 Leicester players?

    I think he's deadly serious.

I'd say Slimani and Gray are worth at least £100mil each. :whistle

All 3 should go out and buy a top CB, for different reasons though.

“To improve their defence” seems like the same reason.

He has been very poor and started the season out of position at RWB but looking at the cold hard stats is also a bit of an injustice to him.

His best game was probably Arsenal away, Neto scored following up Dendonckers header that hit the bar after Traores run and cross and Podence scored following up Neto's shot after Traore drove through the middle of the park and set him away.

So hes got no assists but we don't score either goal at Arsenal without his contributions.

On the goals front is a huge concern though he doesn't look like scoring at any point, even in that Arsenal game he missed off target from a very good position where minimum hes got to make the keeper work.

Not until we address the gaping hole that is our right wing.

Fair enough, you know your side better than me.

    1. To improve their defence, which isn’t capable of playing a high line effectively due to how slow their incumbents are.
    2. To provide sufficient backup/competition for Matip and Fabinho given Matip is so injury prone.
    3. Because Arteta will likely be fired if he can’t fix that defence given how shit their forwards are performing.

We’ve conceded 18 goals in 14 league matches. Not incredible but we’re not exactly porous defensively.

Defence is definitely not a priority for me right now. Unless you believe making sure we keep clean sheets is the only way we’ll pick up points.

    We’ll lose later 5-0 now.

A lot of talk today about Julian Brandt. I can't see that happening....that's easily a €50m+ transfer.

Done some research into this. He's only completed 90 minutes twice this season, started just 8 of Dortmund's 21 matches so far this season and has played just under half of the available minutes in the Bundesliga. He's not been injured.

So far the caretaker manager Edin Terzic hasn't started him.

Maybe this is one to keep an eye on. But I can't see Dortmund selling for anything less than extravagant.

  19. I dunno. the germans have to all be suffering financially. we are all acting like covid hasn't happened a lot of the time but it looks like a full season of zero crowds so can dortmund absorb that or do they part with an unwanted asset for decent money??

they bought for 22mil so if they got 30 would they say thanks very much?

it would mean they could sit back and force utd to pay up for sancho if they have it in the pocket?
