just getting him off the wage bill
Yes which is why he is King Rashford MBE now. Not wumming.
Really don't get the hype over Joao Felix.
His numbers are pretty underwhelming compared to other "best young player in the world"s. Is it just because he's fast? What makes him better than Walcott or the countless other young players hyped solely because of their pace?
Of course, more than happy for this to be dragged up in 5 years time when he's better than Messi.
Messi will be 38 or 39 then, so probably a safe bet.
have we not bought the prem yet?
nobody else seems to have done so either, clearly a low quality league as a result.
We've allegedly also entered the race for Dayot Upamecano.
Is he really that good? Looks like a slight upgrade on Zouma from what I've seen, but nothing else.
He’s shown more quality this season, but I prefer Jota over him
For summer or this window?
We are linked and I'm skeptical too, Konate (his cb partner) looks a better bet for this league to me.
Upamecano wasn't great against United which is a telling warning sign.
he's not looked as good this season as he did last season, but who knows. he's still very young for a cb, but is it better to wait to see if the rest of his game rounds out or try to get him now?
Based purely on what I saw at Old Trafford leave him where he is. He's 22 with almost 100 Bundesliga appearances.
He's still young.
His numbers may be underwhelming but his skills and speed are really good and slick. Need more polishing and experience.
Leicester City can confirm that striker Islam Slimani has signed a permanent deal with Ligue 1 side Lyon, subject to international clearance.
The Algerian international, who arrived at LCFC in August 2016 and made 47 appearances for the Foxes, will now join Rudi Garcia’s team on an 18-month deal.
He has enjoyed loan spells with Newcastle United, Fenerbahce and AS Monaco while with the Foxes, netting nine goals for the latter in France’s top-flight in 2019/20.
This season, he has made one appearance for Brendan Rodgers’ side, coming on as a substitute against Aston Villa in October, taking his total to 47 appearances, including 13 goals.
The Football Club would like to wish Islam the very best for his future career.
Not sure he ‘enjoyed’ his loan to Newcastle. He joined, got injured and got 1 start in 4 appearances, 0 goals.
An unnamed English club is in advanced talks to sign Morgan Samson from Marseille.
That’s according to Telefoot, who are pretty decent for reliability.
Mesut Ozil to be announced tomorrow by Fenerbache.
I don’t know what settlement was reached regarding the rest of his deal but come June, that’s £18m a year freed up.
Good luck to him, no hard feelings. His decline was a perfect storm that wasn’t necessarily all his doing. The duration of his first contract was great to watch and he played his part in three FA Cups.
