Maybe. Feels an incredibly arrogant and naive approach to have for a team that’s beat City more times than they’ve lost under Tuchel and is also undefeated in 4 games to their only PL challengers (during an injury crisis).

We’re far from being able to rival City from the PL but it’s still pretty foolish to write us off as a team not to worry about playing. Whatever makes you happy though.

Stefan Ortega Moreno from Arminia Bielefeld? That's a surprise that a club like ManCity is interested in a goalkeeper who was just relegated from Bundesliga 1. But tbf it wasn't his fault that Arminia went down, he's rock solid in goal.

But I think he'll only be substitute for ManCity, right? I was already wondering why no Bundesliga club was interested when he announced at the end of the season that he'll leave Arminia. He's better than most of the regulars for the other clubs (except e.g the likes of Manuel Neuer or Kevin Trapp). Anyway, I wish him all the best at ManCity, when it really will become true.

Imagine trying to compare Tuchel to Di Matteo…

I’m “defending Tuchel” because he’s clearly an elite manager getting the most from one of the most average Chelsea squads we’ve seen in the last 2 decades. I hope he doesn’t go anywhere soon.

On the verge of selling Daniel Ballard to Burnley.

Not sure what fee we’d get for him though. If we can get something close to 8 figures that would be excellent but I suspect it will be around the £7m mark maybe? It’s not been made public knowledge yet.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Lazio are set to open talks with Chelsea to discuss Emerson Palmieri who has emerged as Maurizio Sarri’s priority at left-back.

Chelsea have put a big price tag on Armando Broja and we currently aren’t willing to pay that.

So a big thing I missed here is he only has a year left on his deal. A fee has emerged now and it's £2m with add-ons.

There is a first refusal in place as well.

Yeah, he’s only played nearly 300 games for Pep, clearly doesn’t rate him.

Admittedly his role has diminished a bit in the past couple of seasons, but I think that’s more to do with the switch in style, he’s the one who has suffered the most. Having Haaland on board now, I actually think he could get back to his best form i.e. 2017-19 playing on the right instead of the left.

If he wants to leave, then I wouldn’t begrudge him, but I’d be more than happy if he stayed.

Loads to take out of this. The Saliba and Guendouzi loans at Marseille has done good stuff for their development as players and it wouldn't hurt Tavares to get out and get some more experience elsewhere too. I'd be more inclined to see him in Gasperini's wing-back system at Atalanta though.

You'd have to think an option is close to coming in for us to begin considering letting Tavares go away.

He prefers playing on the right over left?

Barcelona have submitted the new proposal for Robert Lewandowski, as expected - after player confirmed to Bayern his priority to join Barça this summer. #FCBayern

€35m with add-ons on the table, as @wlodar85 reports - but now Bayern sources feel it’s still ‘not enough’.

Is he any good? Millwall fans seem to think it's a steal at 2 million. He's got big shoes to fill with Tarkowski and Mee leaving.

No idea. He’s rated enough by the club to want first refusal.

Just glad he's gone so there can be no excuse not to address the midfield with a proper midfielder tbh.
Even before considering how much of a bellend he's been

Do any of ye city fans mind losing sterling if he goes? On his day he can be truly world class but most of the time he's just a good to average player. Might suit tuchels counter attacking system in big games though if he's on form that day of course

Doubt it but I'd say juventus fans do. Played well further forward under allegri so could be more of the same for them
