It’s early days yet but the Patriots have put a bit of a winning streak together the last few weeks. During the impressive showing against the Panthers, QB Mac Jones joined Andrew Luck and Dak Prescott as the only rookies since the NFL merger to have five-plus wins, 10-plus passing touchdowns, and 2,000-plus passing yards in their first nine career games. #inbillwetrust
Don’t think they’ll make the play offs but Bill always gets his sides to gel in the last half of the season so who knows.
Great win for the Pats who go 6-4 after being 1-3. Big Mac and his offence are binding nicely and Bill has got the defence firing. What price are they to win it again?
From what I've seen, there isn't a single standout team this year. I think the Pats will make the playoffs, and I certainly wouldn't rule them out from there, not as it stands at least. The expected contenders aren't exactly looking formidable. We were a total joke again. I'm feeling as though I'm very nearly done with Mayfield. He may be the best we've had in a long time, but that says precisely nothing, and we simply can't give him some +35m/year extension - would likely be a colossal mistake and guarantee mediocrity. There's a reason why we're still wondering well into his fourth year. Yes, there have been some valid excuses, and even now he's not 100% fit, but we could go on like this making excuses for another four years.
Another blowout for the Patriots, surprising really considering many experts were saying a Browns win and they had a top 10(5?) defence. Still early days but after 2 wins against Playoff contenders, they are in with a chance. Mac Jones is playing well but then again, Hoyer went 3/3 - 85 yards - 1 TD Looking forward to Skip & Shannon on Undisputed after a Patriots win and Bucs loss.
Washington were good last night, but after the two INTs in the first quarter, for the first time that I can recall, Brady looked every one of his 40+ years
Yeah, I’ve been a big fan of Tom since he burst into the scene all those (decades) years ago, but he looked very ordinary yesterday. On top of that it looks like the Gronk’s body has reached its sell by date and that won’t help his cause one bit
Yeah, TB are the side among the contenders that I've seen the least, but it certainly doesn't seem convincing. But of course the great man can always bounce back! I remember he had a shocker of a game last season with 3 INTs, and I was thinking that he looked old, but then we saw what happened. Jimmy G has a superstar name and looks like a superstar. Shame about the injuries.
Matt Ryan must really hate the Patriots. As comprehensive a performance as can be from the Pats defence.
Yep, the Titans just cost me $320. As for the Colts’ win over the Bills, Jonathan Taylor rushed 32 times for 185 yards! I haven’t seen someone carry the that many times in a game since the Eric Dickerson days..
Steelers never looked like they were in the game. Then all of sudden they were level and looking good. Then they weren’t again.
Bar going to the London games I've struggled to keep up with it this season. It just hasn't seemed as interesting. I suppose when your team is 3-7 it doesn't help.
Where as I’ve found this season really interesting because there isn’t really any juggernaut team running away with anything. You could argue the Cowboys, Packers, Cardinals, Bills, Titans, Ravens, Chiefs, Bucs & the Patriots have all been the top team at one point. The fight for the play offs is going to be interesting I think.
Last week Cam Newton screamed “I’m back” after scoring a rushing TD for his new and old team, the Carolina Panthers. This week, after completing just five of 21 passes for 92 yards with zero touchdowns and two interceptions, he might not have shouted “I’m benched” when Carolina coach Matt Rhule replaced him with P.J. Walker early in the fourth quarter. The bloke’s arm has gone..
