Michael Vick returned last night going 4-4 for 19 yards and a 1 yard rush. Still a t.w.a.t

Are the preseason games usually a good judge of whether a team has a good season? In english football they usually aren't, just wondering if anyone knows.

Can the amount required to join the league be lowered? I can't see another 9 people joining the league before Monday.

Nope it's automatically set at 12 but i'll try.

And i've just read that if we dont get 9 more people the league is disbanded and we leave and find another league.

Definitely not, last year the Detroit Lions were a perfect 4-0 in preseason, then went 0-16 in the regular season!

Steelers - Titans on Thursday night is the opening game, and on Sky.

Then the rest of the first week is on Sunday at different times, two games on Sky, one on Five.

Then the last game of the opening week is monday night. Still no UK contract sorted to show MNF, though ESPN is the favourite to get it.

Five have SNF, exclusive this time.

No MNF deal done. Not expected for the first month of the season (at least). Red button games gone too.

    Gamepass it is then...

Oh, sure is. Has took a big 'ol chunk out my Student loan before I even start back.

Was going to comment on Polamalu.. just seem to get the good, which is unbelieve, and the stupid with him. The run stop on the opening drive and the interception were magnificent, but plagued with penalties. And now he is injured..

This game sure got going in the last two minutes of the half here. Defences both decided to fall asleep after being great, especially the Titans.

Yeah Palamalu is on a mission tonight. Chris Johnson, the running back for the Titans, put the ball in front of his face taunting him as he was about to score in the last game. If theres one thing you don't is taunt Troy, because the next time he plays you, you will get hit.... hard.

Troy is out for the rest of the game though :(. A shame.

This Titans offense, for a 7-7 game, is just dominating the Steelers defense, especially now without the spark of Troy..

Damn sky having the season kick-off exclusive :(

I'm not too fussed if I can't see MNF this season, the NFL made sure the better games were on the Sunday, and again it's shown with Giants-Cowboys and Colts-Pats etc.

So long as I get to see one live game a week, added to the weekly highlights show on five (starting this saturday morning, 10:30am) and make sure there are some highlights of the POs and the SB live, that'll do me good.
