    As an interim in what looks a lost season he's certainly getting a lot of attention :laugh:

    Don't really care too much about his credentials as a manager, if he can get a consistent idea across into the side so we can see out the season with a bit of consistency he's done his job. It's the consultancy role I am hopeful for. Would be good to have someone knowledgeable about the actual game with some say higher up.

    This United team isn't winning the Cash Cup, isn't likely to catch city, Chelsea and liverpool in the League and is out of the League Cup. So apart from the FA Cup it's a lost season already, with only the suits' favourite 'top 4' trophy still a possibility.

    I mean finishing 4th is a big deal when you consider the fact you have a new manager guaranteed through the door in the summer. Puts them in a better spot if they are taking over a side playing Champions League football, and not the sub competitions.

    True, but we're not in December yet and the club's only realistic chance of silverware is the FA Cup, so competitively the season is lost.
