I believe every song on the dayboo album is great hence why it is my favourite album. Usually there are at east 1 or 2 tracks that you a bit meh on album, but this one has none of that for me.

Oasis are over-rated and are average at best

Heavy metal is one genre that I don’t get how people can enjoy. Most of what I’ve heard just sounds the same.

If Elephant Stone wasn’t on that album I’d be in agreement, it’s one song of theirs I skip.

They are overrated I agree with that but they are not average.

I like Elephant Stone. It’s got a lot going on. As for Oasis, they were certainly not average. They were very good at what they did on the 90s. Their albums are very patchy, especially the latter albums.

Well heavy metal to me would be bands like Armoured saints, Iron maiden, Judas Priest etc.

Don’t get me wrong I appreciate it’s probably really complex and has a lot of structure. And the musicians are probably some of the best in the world. But the fact you can’t understand the lyrics and there is too many instruments being played at once make it just noise to me. Maybe it’s lack of understanding or under appreciation but I just cannot take to it.

The later albums are no where near the quality of the their first two. Although their is a few gems on Heathen Chemistry. And the Masterplan is good album too.

You see, Elephant stone was not released in the UK 1989 album so i have never considered it apart of that album because i have only ever listened to the UK version and the re-released UK version with Fools Gold added onto the end

Yeah when I got the album it was the 1991 album I believe. Do you like Elephant Stone?

It is ok, but would probably be the weakest of the album if it was on my version

Totally agree. The first two are great albums, although I prefer the debut and rarely listen to WTSMG. Be here now is a bit patchy but still good. The rest are pretty average with a couple of good songs on them.

    Tough question, very tough question.

Waterfall, I am the Resurrection, I want to be adored and This is the One stand out. I also love Fools Gold, but i prefer the edited down version as the full one does go on a little too long.

Don't Stop is probably my least favourite on the original album.

    What about you?

Yeah the debut album is by far their very best. Mostly great songs. What’s the Story is much more mainstream, still like it though but none of the songs would get in my faves list apart from what’s the story as that’s a great song.

    Great picks :-)

This is the one, without a doubt is my fave song off that album. But only Elephant Stone I dislike. You like their second album?

Morning Glory the song, proper grates on my ears. It’s an anthem, but I always turn it off.

Love Spreads , on The Stone Roses second album is class.
