Been a decent season for the E. Mids and it just got better.

Hull won easily in the end. Worst team to concede first against* as they have a strong defence. Three of them I think are the best defenders in the Championship and the other one Odubajo played a blinder and is good going forward. (Derby allowed him to though.) *Have Hull lost this season after taking the lead?

Dominate possession, don't make any errors, and restrict the opposition to long shots did not work this season in the play-offs so far.

Play deep defence and try and catch the opposition on the break seems to work better.

HT 0-3 When did any club last overturn a 0-3 deficit in any competition in a two-legged tie? From memory I think Ipswich lost on one occasion after winning the home leg 3-0?

I do not think Derby are good enough in the middle of park/attack to play 4-3-3. It was an open question (to me) before this game.

    Smashed it. Well played Hull.

Could be an all-Yorkshire final and three new northern teams in the PL next year.

That would be a few long trips for those in the South but Hull deserved it.

Well weve been patchy for 3 months but thankfully decided to perform when it matters!

Weve always said we have the best team in this league by a mile when on it and just 1 more game to need that performance

Not ideal, but if it means another season of playoff humiliation for Brighton then so be it :whistle

Love going to Hillsborough and Sheff Weds haven't been in the PL for yonks so I hope they do it.

Jaw dropped when i saw the score just. Fair play to Hull. Laboured to a win against us recently but seems Bruce has pulled it out when it really matters. No way Derby will come back from this.

The perfect performance from us. Something we have very rarely seen this year.

Half way there. Just be professional on Tuesday and see this through...

got to feel for the Derby fans with tickets for the return leg. Listened to it on the radio and Claridge was mystified by the Rams tactics:confused
