Probably going to lose.
More importantly, where can I drink?
What time you getting in? Probably just stay in the town centre and get a taxi as late as possible.
You looking for general cheap boozers? or ale places?
Just general is fine, The Old Vic looks ok, few sports bars?
Yeah, Old Vic is first port of call for away fans off the train.
Ballers is decent, shit name but good for watching the footy, pretty cheap drinks.
Worth popping in the Black horse for one while you're there.
Carry on down Friargate and you've got the Black Bull, Roper Hall & Northern Way which is dirt cheap, think they have some bottles on offer for 99p in January.
Most fans head up Church Street towards Yatesy's, Hogarth's Twelve Tellers, etc but Friargate is better imo.
Top man, cheers.
Should be taxis outside the tesco metro across from Roper Hall.
Go to Wings and Beer if you want to watch footy, it's on Cannon Street.
If I end up going into town I'll drop you a PM on here.
Wings & Beer is good but getting served at that bar is painful when its busy.
We won't be signing anyone before this one it seems and if we do they probably won't be ready.
Everyone wants Sinclair to start but it sounds like Neil doesn't want to rush him, I live in hope though, we need something extra.
Clarke & Gally OUT.
Fisher, Bauer, Davies, Rafferty
Barkhuizen, Harrop, Sinclair
Interesting to see if we were missing anything with Andre Green.
Looking unlikely we'll be signing anyone and if we do, doubt they'll be going straight into the side.
Going to be yet another mish mash of second teamers and youngsters and now without Gallagher too, going to need them to play above themselves again to get even get a draw here.
Johnny Williams will probably need to start so won't be surprised to see him break down again.
Looking forward to the day out but not the game.
Bayliss injured just as it looked like he might be given a chance.
God, we’re such a poor excuse of a football team at the minute.
We were really good for 5 minutes and then Preston absolutely bossed the next 85. Of course Bauer scored the winner literally watched him stroll into the box unmarked and head in. Shambles.
potato and butter pies are ****ing banging though.
I watched the game on ifollow and the camera was fixed on a Charlton fan for about 30 seconds tucking into a pie, and he looked absolutely in his element.
He was wearing a black jacket, positioned just above the middle of the stand.
Wasn't you was it?
haha no mate, had mine on the concourse at half time. Absolute heaven in every bite.
Just watched highlights and of course it was Naby Sarr supposed to be marking Bauer.
Pure bantz from Bowyer playing him every week.
Do you have really long hair?
haha absolutely not.
I’ve got a feeling I know who you think I may have been though, blue coat?
Hahaha yeah, walked past him outside the ground and for some reason thought “wonder if that’s Bobbin”
