So far we have Peter Schmeichel in goal, with Neville and Irwin as full backs the confirmed places.

Now it's over to right midfield. Ronaldo will also be an option for the left hand side, and up top, if anyone wants him in another position.

If anyone wants any players adding let me know. I put on the three requested in another thread, and I added Mata because he's a nice bloke ;)

Just has to be Becks doesn't it? Bloke is a legend for Utd and England and I will never forget that goal against Wimbledon from the half way line. As a youngster I had never seen anything like it

Tough one this. Kanchelskis was mustard on his day, lightning quick eye for goal too.

But has to be between Ronaldo and Beckham. Tough choice. Gonna have to ponder.

It's Beckham. Ronaldo played on the wing in a front three for two years then played up front for the rest of his time here.

Not sure about the details of when he actually moved up front (I have the impression he was still playing on the wing quite a bit in 2006-07), but I definitely feel he peaked as a forward with no set position. He wasn't really a pure wide midfielder when he was winning the Ballon d'Or, scoring 42 goals, etc.

Beckham, not a winger and not as exciting as Kanchelskis, but he was United to the core.

Ronaldo, love Becks but Ronaldo was just next level.

I'd be picking Becks on the right of a midfield 3 with Keane and Scholes 1 up front in my all time United XI, but you can't be leaving Ronaldo out if it's between Becks and Ronaldo.

It's becks for me, but only just. Underrated player. When I think of united, he's just one of the first players that comes to mind.

Kanchelskis was a pure winger. Cant not pick Ronaldo. Harsh on Beckham though.

I suppose the argument is that Ronaldo, after his first couple of years being a 'one trick pony' and a 'diver', really became the player we know and certainly wasn't a winger, so he'll hopefully be picked as a forward or even midfielder. The latter is unlikely though given the amount of world class players we've had there.

I went with Beckham. I thought he was the more consistent, worked hard, and could create and score goals. I thought Kanchelskis was more entertaining but didn't have as much to his game as Beckham.

I don't think Ronaldo was as effective on the right for us, which is where he played a lot in his early Utd career. I might be tempted to vote for him in another position, but I decided on Beckham here.

It gets complicated from here because it depends on the formation?

Beckham for me too. Ronaldo was far better up front or on the left wing than on the right.

Honorable mention for Park Ji-Sung too - may not have been the most technical player, but gave absolutely everything every time he put on a Utd shirt.

No Ryan Giggs on the list?

    Bit strange.

It's United, it has to be 4-4-2.

Ronaldo will be available for selection as a striker.

Only two contenders here: Cristiano Ronaldo and David Beckham.

Ronaldo has the claim to be the best player in the world (2008) while at Manchester United, so he wins here. Many consider him the greatest Premier League of all time too (I don't, Henry for me).

Even though I prefer Beckham-Neville on the right flank (Premier League's best right wing partnership of all time), you've gotta make room for Ronaldo in your XI... as Giggs will no doubt play on the left.

It's Beckham. You knew exactly what you'd get with him and he did it so well. Ball on a sixpence, wouldn't stop running, whopping free kicks and great partnership with G Nev on that side. Great hair too.

Ronaldo has to be in somewhere but it's not on the traditional right wing slot instead of Beckham. In a 4-4-2 he's up front, in a 4-3-3 he's a wide attacker. As it was said above, the next part really is depending on our formation. There's a lot of strikers who may push Ronaldo out.

Easy to forget how good Beckham was, 80 assists and 62 goals in 265 PL Games.

Can't be that many midfielders with that kind of end product.
