First bands I could think of from Liverpool and Leicester. The latter was more difficult to be fair.

    Best injuries in the world.

Tbf to Pagnell I'm not sure name-checking a band who were big 10-15 years ago counts as being in touch.

We've been unlucky with injuries in that it seems that it's mostly just new players or CB's who've been injured. However these figures for us are probably inflated for us as they include Berardi and Forshaw who have both been out all season.

Ouch. Christ wonder what that feels like. Patellar tendonitis itself is a bitch, but having some of it separated from the knee?

It's something they were trying to manage from games previous apparently.

Fofana and Perez back in training as City receive timely boost

Wesley Fofana is back in training and could provide Leicester City with a timely boost ahead of their trip to Burnley on Wednesday.

With Jonny Evans substituted with a calf injury and booked in for a scan to determine the severity of it, City may be down a centre-back for the game at Turf Moor.

However, Fofana was involved in training on Monday for the first time since a hamstring injury sustained a month ago, and manager Brendan Rodgers will now consider the risk of bringing him back into the fold to take on the Clarets.

The manager said: “We'll have a look at that, he trained with the group on Monday. It's just about weighing up the risk really.

"He's obviously been out for a period of time with his hamstring so we'll assess it. He looked fantastic in training on Monday.

“If it's not Wednesday then there could be a big possibility for the weekend (against Brighton).

"It's no more or no less caution than before. You'll always have the player's welfare to think about.

"Of course we have a number of injuries but we always try to ensure that when the players come back they are always ready to be with us for a period of time. It's just really unfortunate but we have to deal with it."

City have an attacking player back out on the pitches at Seagrave too, with Ayoze Perez rejoining his team-mates. His return would also be welcomed, given Harvey Barnes will undergo knee surgery on Tuesday and then be out for six weeks, with Dennis Praet also sidelined and James Maddison not due to start running again until the end of this week.

However, Rodgers thinks this week’s games will be too early for the Spaniard.

“He (Perez) is out training,” Rodgers said. “I don’t think he’ll be available for the two games this week.

Just realised Van Dijk has returned to solo training a week or so back. Massive news but essential Klopp doesn't allow him back until we're absolutely certain he's ready.
