going to be feisty. 2-1 home win
Can’t wait for this one. Should be a cracking atmosphere.
Think there'll be goals in this.
Think we have a good chance of getting something from this game. Are in good form, a short trip and will be backed by a sell out away end. We seem to be improving steadily and getting a couple of wins will have boosted confidence. Only problem is I have little knowledge about how QPR play. Results seem to be inconsistent and the lowish gates would I assume indicate that all is not well at Loftus Road.
Fond memories of the old rivalry and I've no doubt both sets of fans will be up for it. Would be happy with a draw. I predict 2-2.
Lads don't talk about any fighting in here.
You'll regret it when the 3 wannabes walk in
we're playing some decent football and the fans are as positive as they've been in a long while. Gates are disappointing, but that is probably more because of the dross we've endured the last few seasons. Police have classified this one higher risk
Was referring to up for it in terms of creating an atmosphere although I've no doubt they'll be some fans on both sides who'll be looking for trouble, although it will never be on the same scale it was back in the 80s when it got extremely nasty. Games with an edge though to tend to be more exciting to watch. This one will certainly have that edginess.
I hate Luton , since I fell down them fecking stairs whilst going for a gypsies kiss at HT.
It will definitely be edgy. I’m really looking forward to the game. We are playing really good football and it’s exciting so I’m confident we’ll do okay here. Our attendances have been pretty average but they’ll start to pick up if we carry on playing as we are.
Looks like both of us can't defend for toffee at the moment. Tempted to back both teams to score in both halves.
Its kicking off everywhere im told.
Well was a goal feast!
Eze will attract interest from top clubs surely?
Probably fighting over who dislikes us more...
In theory it should be Luton naturally but don't think QPR are too fond of us.
Well I never
No idea how I didn't win that one!
What a game. Unbelievable start from us where we could easily have been 5 up before Lumley did whatever he did. Excellent finish for that one, looked like it was going over until the very last second from where I was stood.
Feared the worst after the start of the second half but to be fair we coped pretty well with the pressure and had Hugill figured out how to hit the target it could have been more comfortable.
Great start to the season to for us, loving how quick Warburton is to make changes and adapt our system when he sees a problem. Can't wait for Millwall next week.
Disappointed with our first half performance. Stood off far too much and allowed QPR to run at us. Not sure why we didn't play with a defensive midfielder. Izzy Brown was forced to play that role and it was his bad pass out of defence which led to their goal. Just the start we didn't want as it gave QPR confidence and left our defence looking vulnerable. Could have been more than 3 before half time.Thankfully their keeper had a heads gone moment and gifted us an undeserved goal. An early goal second half and suddenly we were back in it. However we just couldn't put QPR under enough pressure. Would have been unfair on QPR really whose first half performance was exceptional. Still adapting to this level and yesterday was another game which I hope we learned a lot from, not least to play with a defensive midfielder.
I didn't see anything after the game but it was the first time in years that they didn't let the home fans leave whatever direction they wanted.
Literally have zero feelings towards Watford, not sure where you got that we don't like you? We have a thread on a QPR site atm and Watford hasn't come up once.
You were bellends at our place a few years back and I have a few friends who support QPR and were horribly arrogant when you had money.
So I definitely dont like you lot but yeah, its definitely more of a one way thing admittedly.
