That's the one, the guy who should have had studs on his backside as he spent so much time on it. That's what you're up against in the Prem, the big boys get all the decisions and the less fashionable clubs get nothing. Why great players need to cheat and dive I don't know. There ought to be some sort of panel looking at these diving incidents and dishing out punishments.

Yet we get Manchester United managers and players claiming they don't get penalties for example!

Think its 35 in the last year or so..

There was a diving panel set up but like most things in football that seems to have disappeared in double quick time.

VAR probably will once the clubs decide they really don't like having voted for the system to come in.

It was Cardiff I was thinking about when I posted the comment about VAR. Seem to remember you were on the end of some pretty poor decisions during your spell in the PL.

Yeh, particularly it seemed during our 2nd stint when towards the end of the season key decisions in several games went against us. Chelsea game being memorable when we were leading until the 85th minute but conceded 2 late goals. One of which was 2 yards offside. We also had 2 stonewall penalties denied and Chelsea should probably have had Rudiger sent-off for bringing down Zohore as he bore down on goal. Warnock was fined £20,000 for sharing his views on the referee.

Some Birmingham fans having a meltdown on social media as if it’s a shock result. Take a look at the table haha.

7 in a row is mad, just a shame we’re not there to enjoy it in person.

We beat them on every stat. I think Collins only had one save to make. I don't mind giving Rotherham a hand either. One game at a time is the mind set. Derby County is our game in hand next Wednesday before the international break. Normally I'd bemoan having the break when we have such momentum, but it will be chance to recharge the batteries of most of the squad.
    What a goal btw...:eeek

Five points shy of our points total for last season, which got us play-offs.

Three away fixtures in a row for us now - Blackburn, Luton and then Bournemouth.

Tricky games, Blackburn just ended their bad run with a good win today, and Bournemouth away is probably our hardest game on paper until the final day of the season when we face Watford away.

Barnsley, Swansea, Cup QF v Southampton, and Boro are our next 4. A run that will probably define our season.

Annoying, but I don't think it will matter in the scheme of things - can't see either of you going up..not that I think we will either of course :D

I agree ... we are playing crap and have been for a while. Very disjointed and route 1 awful at times. I think Norwich and Watford will go up and Reading in the playoffs

Swansea could go either way. They're not playing that well and have had a couple of very fortunate decisions so you could argue that it'll catch up with them.

You could also argue that they are finding ways to win even when they're not on form. I probably wouldn't bet my own money on them to go up as I think Brentford & Norwich have more natural talent, but they do seem to have that grit/nastyness that can get teams over the line in a long season.

As for us, the Barnsley game is frankly massive. Woodgate has done a stellar job so far and if not for 2 absolute liabilities in Cook & Mepham, he'd be undefeated and 3 points better off. I'm not counting my chickens but he's definitely improved us from Tindall, that much is obvious.

Pretty big game for us as well, but we have Derby first on Wednesday.

You have seen our play-off record?

If we finish sixth this season, we can be the only team ever at this level to have lost in the playoffs after finishing the league season in 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th. Would be quite the impressive record in my opinion.

I think we’ve done that too - though only 5th and 3rd at this level.
