Was going to have a couple of baked tatties tonight but the the wife told me she was having a wee fry up....My interest was sparked......sooooo I am now having sausage, bacon, egg, chips and beans accompanied by a couple of slice of bread & butter (Lurpak full fat).....Haven't a clue as to what the 'syns' or 'calories' are but tbh I don't give a f*ck....live life, love life, be who you are & embrace it. Not for everyone & I respect that but, shit....:bounce:

Never quite understood how chips go on a fry up. Hash Browns defo but not chips.

Have downloaded the first episode of that Madeline McCann Netflix series after an hour fiddling around trying to get it to download properly.

Be a good watch that while eating some Skittles

Mouth is watering. For me, fry ups are a morning thing. Leo's supper sounds more like sausage, egg and chips with trimmings, where the chips are actually the central feature.

I can't remember when I last indulged except for breakfast but it was probably decades ago.

Yeah Sausage, egg and chips I see as a different meal to a fry up. Fry ups should have Bacon, Sausage, egg, mushrooms, toms/beans, hash brown and maybe fried bread, but I think they are an anytime of day thing, not just morning.

Black pudding is something that has grown on me as I've got older. It repulsed me as a youngster but I quite enjoy it these days

It’s about cooking it right for me ..... in a pan with some butter crispy on the outside soft in the middle is lovely:)

but the lazy throw it in the oven way it’s it’s just warm with a soft ‘skin’ is just grim :(

You're so right, it can only be cooked in a pan

The wife is away all weekend ,so has left the house spotless in the hope it will look lived in when she returns hence providing her with ample excuse for a chiding for yours truly. Unbeknown to her ,I'm staying with a mate and will leave the house uninhabited and as pristine as she left it, so I can say I cleaned up for her. ;)

Tip........leave a cup with a little bit of tea in it by the sink and ruffle the bed sheets up a bit so looks like slept in. That way she thinks you stayed at home and will never know you were away.

That will be £ 20 please.
