Pretty poor draw in terms of TV. No doubt that every round they are in Rangers will get the live game but if it doesn't work that way then there isn't a stand out game there.

Raith v Dunfermline could maybe be in with a shout?

Raith v Dunfermline is probably be the best tie, along with Auchinleck v Ayr, but I'll be amazed if either is televised. Cowden-Rangers is a certainty, probably the Hearts or Celtic games will be picked as well. Disappointing that so many of the "big" teams got home draws.

We spent years never getting a home draw in the Scottish cup, tbh.

Auchinleck Talbot v Ayr & Hearts v Livingston on the BBC. Good choices

Deserved win for Auchinleck over Ayr, who look to be a one-man team who are starting to struggle without Shankland.

If Monty is not online for a few days we can assume he's rattled out his nut after that result today. Well played Raith.

Brilliant result, sent the Townies back along the A92 with their tails between their legs. Hope we get a decent draw in the next round.

    Stenny causing Aberdeen problems again!

Fair play to the mighty Warriors.

I've looked out for their results since around 1974 purely because I liked the name along with the defunct Meadowbank Thistle , weird for someone from Eastern England.

Wouldn't have known Hearts v Livingston would be on Sky Cannel 977 if not for this thread , come on Livi .!

Trip to Hearts is their reward.

Rangers away to Killie, assuming they find the pitch good enough to play on that is and don't shite themselves from Cowdenbeath again.

    Excellent performance today from us.

Thought Sinclair and Burke were outstanding and St Johnstone really didn't have an answer for them.

What a goal by Brown and its been coming after the 48 shots that have flew over the bar this season.

Scott Bain and Toljan have plugged a massive weakness in our game, Gordan and Lustig could not handle being pressed and gave the ball away but these two just don't look like doing that and it imo puts us up a level again and those two in our side make us defensively a lot more sound.

Going forward we have so many different options now, I think for once Celtic got a January trabsfer window spot on and I can't see any team coping with us on our day no matter how physical they are or how much they press us.

    New year new team.
