Morelos away by the looks of it.

Rangers will be very lucky to be able to replace that amount of goals.

Is he taking his medals and his goals against us with him?

His Viola Cup Medal might get left behind.

It seems the talks between the clubs have broken down.

If he does go i'd expect to see the words 'undisclosed fee' while their media friends tout mega millions.

Regardless of the fact that he hasn't scored against us, I think it will be a massive blow to them if he goes.

It's very difficult to replace that amount of goals and he is also a fans favourite which would put them on a downer before the season starts.

We should try to do some good business in the coming days to turn the screw.

How much do we all think he's actually worth. Whether they accept it or not, he will be seen as s SPL striker to any buyers even though he did all right in the EL this season. In other words he's a punt. There are a lot of things that go against him as well and despite the laughable press coverage he gets (anyone see the loving daddy photo's the other day eg:fail:) I honestly can't see anyone paying much more than £5m for him. Even then it's a risk. Given that Cosgrove was around the £2.5m mark I actually think they will do well to get £5m for him.

Also his attitude etc since last year (calender) has done him or them no favours and he went off in a strop yesterday as well by all accounts. These kind of things are big factors and it's a gamble for any club to take a player of that mentality. He can score goals but way too much of a risk and I think they could be left with a moody wee bastard who will keep the tools down.

Hopefully Budge will be hit with a massive legal bill for this

The SPFL totally vindicated by the Scottish legal practice in every decision they took in dealing with the pandemic and the fallout of it.

RoyalBlueMaldini made to look an even bigger crackpot than previously.

Half a summer spouting absolute garbage :laugh:

I see Peter Lawwell is being labeled the mastermind behind today's decision.

I don't know how he does it man. Guys a magician.

If he's available at £5mill I'd imagine a fair few Premier league sides would take a punt. Can't see him going for that little.

I think they'll get an eight figure sum for him, given how the transfer market is these days. It doesn't particularly matter to me how much he goes for though.

I honestly don't think a single EPL club would touch him. He has way too many negatives to deal with and not very many positives.

If it were 5mill then lots would, theres plenty that need goalscorers and at that price it wouldnt be a gamble. But it wont be that price.

He wasn't even their top league scorer last term but they keep saying he was top scorer in the EL. He was joint top scorer and a striker from a similarly "lesser" league was bought by Sporting Lisbon last transfer window. His fee was 6m Euros. Sporar he's called. I think that is the barometer that can be used for Morelos and I'd be surprised if many clubs didn't think along those lines. One thing is for certain though is that if he does go, the Scottish press will lie about the fee. There is only one club in Scotland that can attract good money for it's players and that is Celtic for a variety of reasons.

My honest assesment is that he's worth about £9 - £10m tops.

That is still a gamble given his disciplinary issues

    Time to give some prediction.

League Winners - Celtic (between 8-12 points)

    Second place - Rangers

    Relegated - Hamilton

    Scottish Cup - Celtic

    League Cup - Hibs

    Top Scorer - Eddy
    POTY - Elyounoussi

I think Celtic are still too strong for Rangers. It will remain tight for a time though as I think the quality in the rest of the league has went down recently so Rangers are now a fair bit better than the rest.

I think both Celtic and Rangers have such a hectic schedule that might see them not take the League Cup too seriously this season and could open the door for someone else.

I know it's only the first game of the season but Rangers don't look improved since last year.

Going to take some collapse from Celtic for them to get close.

I thought they were comfortable enough winners without being particularly impressive.

Aribo looks their best player with Kent always capable of producing a moment that can win a game.

Aberdeen look poor and the boy Ojo in particular looks sub standard.
