I picked out an entire paragraph. You criticised Charlton for considering legal action over something you agree with them over! I don’t care about your other points, I’m only interested in debunking your silly claims about Charlton.

Blimey, clutching at straws or what?

The first article is dated the 19th April (at the peak when 100s of deaths were being recorded daily) where he says several times he wants to finish the season but just couldn’t see how it was possible. Even says he’d be happy to play behind closed doors if that’s what it takes

Second article is hardly moaning is it? He was obviously asked the question and answered:

"We would prefer a little bit more time to try and get the players up to real speed, but it is what it is. We'll try our best and get ourselves ready the best we can."

There were 23 managers saying the same thing and you had had clubs like Hull and QPR not wanting to restart at all.

Bowyer was consistent from the beginning he wanted to complete the season, one of the few I’d say.

Turns out Cardiff have also broken FFP, 60m losses the 3 seasons before they got promoted. Not sure if they paid a fine or not when they got promoted like Bournemouth did, if so they are fine, if not then they will no doubt get done next season too.

Could be about 12 teams on -12 next season. Probably more in League 1 and 2!

At what point does a point deduction stop being a punishment? If there are more clubs starting the season on -12 than there are relegation spots then they are not chasing back a 12 point deficit as such, they are just seeking to gain more points than 3 of the other clubs.

Equally, the EFL should be considering why so many clubs are not being put off from cheating the FFP system considering the possible sanctions they can be hit with.

As I said before, get rid of point deductions and start gifting automatic relegations to those clubs found guilty of cheating the system (probably best to use some sort of independent panel for this as opposed to the EFL  ). Even Derby might stop cheating then!!! :D

    Lee Bowyer 19th April.

“Everyone wants the season to finish, we all do, because morally it’s the right thing to do.“

Lee Bowyer 12th May, stating he didn’t want the season voided despite that benefitting us.

Lee Bowyer delivers verdict on ending the season and what it means for Leeds

    Lee Bowyer 28th May.

“I think it's the right thing to do because when you sign up to a season, you sign up to a 46-game season and we've only played 37.

"The right thing to do is try to finish the season - but when it's safe.

"And that's what the EFL want to do. I’ve been on a managers' call and they said that the bar is to finish the season and I'm on board with that."

Exactly, if enough are deducted points, any team not yet breaching would be in a good position to risk spending as it might mean they go up due to so little competition.

Yep, and even if you overspend, break FFP rule and are hit with a deduction there is still a strong chance of surviving. Next season could be pretty interesting

Leicester city did it too. No points deduction but a £3 million pound fine the season after they were promoted which is a drop in the ocean. Derby are still waiting their decision on the same thing as us. At this rate you could get promoted next season with 11 points!

In fairness I wouldn't exactly criticise them even if they did that. They are literally fighting for the survival of their football club

Hopefully we can find a couple more championship clubs on the fiddle and deduct em 12 points too. My crafty plan to keep us up

You'd get 11 points but miss out on goal difference because you conceded 4 goals in the last 15 minutes after being 1-0 up.

Where did you read about this? Genuinely haven’t seen it. We had a transfer embargo for January 2015/16 window for losses incurred during the previous season following relegation from PL. I believe Forest, Fulham and Bolton did too and Millwall avoided due to relegation? Think the rules have changed a bit over time.
