Just before the switch over to the Prem in the early 90s I believe.

For all the hype about him, Saint-Maximin has been dreadful tonight.

They put a stat up, 1 goal and 1 assist in his last 11 games.

We are very lucky to be top of the league.

Comfortable win. Newcastle lucky it was only 2.

I was there not only for his debut, but when he played for the under 18s against arsenal in the FA youth cup semi final (or maybe final) at St Mary's. I'm getting emotional watching his interview, not gonna lie.

That Saint Maximim was getting wanked by the commentators every time he got the ball. Every time I’ve seen him he’s been shite.

Well, that was so damn easy.
Should’ve put that game to bed very early on.
    We didn’t. But hey.

So was I! It's still really weird watching him play in our team, a bit like a time warp.

How Bruce has a job in this league...

Don’t even care if he gets the odd fluke win, the stats say it all. Pub football by Newcastle, just embarrassing on the ball. They make us look competent in possession ffs

    Well done Saints etc

It has been discussed. I think there's too much dross at the bottom this year for them to go down but their luck will run out sooner rather than later under his management

Bolasie with a headband. 10 games of doing f*ck all but pops up with a few silky skills and the odd goal.

That could be down to the way he's managed to be fair though.

Special mention to McCarthy for that save from Joelinton. He looked well beaten.
