Sterling's bit adding he was praised for his stand against racism  Only when it suited him.

Has to be Stokes. I always feel like Hamilton gets overlooked, but no doubt he'll get it when he matches the record.

Yeah I think Hamilton will get it when he matches & beats the record, unless something monumental happens in either of those two years to win it. No matter how much of an achievement equalling/overtaking Schumacher would be; there’s no chance F1 wins if Kane scores a hat trick in the final of the EURO’s or something.

I'd like it to be Hamilton, but it will probably be Stokes and I'd be happy enough with that after the year he's had.

I'd give it to Hamilton, Stokes or Joshua.

Kjt easily for me. Her performance was phenomenal, especially for someone with clear confidence issues. Her and Asher-smith will both be formidable going forward

Liverpool should be team of the year!

Sporting wise I think Stokes, but I got a feeling Sterling could get it.

The programme isn't really a review of the year now due to the fact the BBC don't actually have a lot of live sporting coverage .

Wow so moving seeing Doddie Weir being honoured, such a cruel thing for this loveable giant to be struck down with.

Chuffing Lineker...was about to post he announced Stokes as the winner....
