If you didn't see the leak yesterday, then you might have seen a year long announcement today confirming were headed to the States in July.

Playing PSG, Roma and Manchester City in Orlando, New Jersey and Nashville.

    Just the 24,000 odd

Seen a lot moaning but the reality is if you go regularly you'll have a ticket for it. I'm in the Paxton, row 2 of the lower which is disappointing but at least I'll be there :D

It'll be interesting to see how many apply for the last game.

There were 5,070 tickets available to members, so we were nearly 500% oversubscribed

The number of applications has been gradually increasing throughout the season. It started at about 5,500 and recent games have seen somewhere near 8,000/9,000.

I wonder how many Man Utd will be :eeek

Spurs financial statements for year ended 30 June 2016 have just been released. I've had a read through and these are a couple of very high level highlights. Swiss Ramble will probably do a whole piece on the accounts, so I will look out for that and share it on here.

    - Record revenues of £209.8m (2015: £196.4m). This does not include this season's CL revenue, so we can expect another record figure next year.
    - Profit from Operations £63.3m (2015: £46.7m). This includes profit on disposal of intangible fixed assets (i.e. sale of players) of £27.1m
    - Net cash inflow of £129.8m (2015: £41.1m). Cash is fairly significant with a stadium to pay for, so that huge inflow is natural, with a significant portion of this cash inflow in the form of loans (£125m to date by the looks of it, with another £100m loan secured, but cash not yet received. £25m related to training ground extension, and £200m for the stadium)
    - Matchday receipts actually decreased, possibly a result of fewer cup matches. Commercial revenue also decreased very slightly from 2014/15.
    - Bottom line is pre-tax profits of £33m, up from £9.4m in 2015.

You can find the full financial statements here: Annual Reports - tottenhamhotspur.com

In a very healthy place financially which says a lot given we're more competitive than we've been for a long time as a club in this league.

That is a professional photographer using on-camera bare flash for a portrait shot. I feel physically sick.

can someone remind me of the new CL seeding rules?

didn't they change it so league position is more important than UEFA co-efficient? so that stands us in good stead right?

The only significant change is that the League champions for the top 7 nations are automatic top seeds (along with the CL winner).

There are other smaller changes (including past winners getting a bump up so I read), but I think we'll be broadly unaffected, and bar a freak set of qualification results will still most likely be 3rd seeds.

Yeah, I think we'll be third seeds too. Probably just aswell as last season was such an anti-climax - both in terms of the group and progression.
I'd expect us to get a bigger name this year, hopefully we actually get out of the groups too.

ok it's only affects you if you win the league- so basically we are likely to be 3rd seeds?

well tbh i'm hoping we do get one 'galactico team' in our group so whether we are 2nd or 3rd seeds probably doesn't make much difference.

I think we'd be lucky to get seeded in the second pot so should hopefully get some decent ties and some decent aways out of it.

Hopefully avoid Moscow, Donetsk and potentially Monaco in pot 1. Wouldn't mind PSG if they win their league. Think I'm going to try and do all 3 aways in the groups this year though.

my dream would be Barcelona- but there's a few other top teams I wouldn't mind. Juve, Bayern, PSG, Porto, Athletico Madrid, Real Madrid all huge European clubs (altho I've already seen us play Real in recent memory).

2 mouthwatering games.... and then hopefully we r too strong for the other 2 teams in the group.

No Klinsmann, Lineker or Gazza at the Lane for the finale? Real shame.

Klinsmann had other commitments, he was a half-time guest at the derby a couple of weeks ago though.
Gazza getting himself sorted out, not sure what Lineker's excuse was.
