Proof of the pudding comes to mind superyids. Let's see what happens. I don't think I say odd things, they seem perfectly natural to me.

So OGS has said that this just the beginning after one match, he's heading for a fall.

I know this sounds utterly ridiculous after they lost 4-0 but I almost feel like Chelsea have more reason to be positive than Man Utd yesterday!

I’m confused about this GLC loan deal? Seemed out of the blue when I saw it on deadline day.

Is it an obligation to buy OR do we have a choice. Looks like we’ve mugged Betis off a bit here.

Spurs suggested it was an option to buy.

It becomes obligatory if we qualify for the CL.

    Marca I think.
He had the same clause in his transfer from PSG to Betis for European football so doesn't seem too farfetched

    Fair enough.

I've only suggested the alternative because it has come from the club itself. An option for the club to avoid spending money doesn't seem too farfetched either

Hadn’t heard that CL clause thingy.

At the moment I don’t really see what’s in it for Betis just to loan us a 60m player (pretty much in his prime) for a season.
It seemed was gonna be an outright purchase literally until deadline day.

From what I understand, Betis will need to pay PSG a slice of the transfer.

To make it smaller, they loan him to Tottenham for (throwing a random number here) £20m. If we buy him end of season, we will buy him for £35m. Betis will only pay a percentage of the transfer fee, not the loan fee.

Spurs happy, they get the player for less than Betis originally wanted, Betis happy, they pay PSG less, PSG pissed off, tough shit

    May be wrong

Seems a bit cheeky to me. If it’s that easy why don’t more teams do that to avoid paying a high sell on fee.

Fair play if Betis get away with that. Seems a bit of a cheeky loophole they’ve exploited.

This will be it, and will be why spurs have listed it at an option to buy, not an obligation. It has to appear as a genuine loan!

To get away with it, you have to demonstrate a reason for it being a loan in the first place, and not just a pseudo loan to avoid paying PSG. In our case, I would assume we would use the idea that Lo Celso wants to play European football, so we will loan him this year while we're in it, but he can return to Betis next year if we aren't.

It's an obligation to buy if we qualify for any European football according to the Spanish media. And to be honest, even if we had a shocker and don't, I'm sure he will still sign anyway.

So basically as i infer things we are gonna sign him next summer??

And we’ve just pulled a fast one with Betis to screw over PSG.

I'll say again that things aren't totally right at Liverpool, they could only draw with a team which was thrashed last weekend. The neutral venue may have been a factor but I'm not so sure.

In wud happily take things “not being right” at spurs... if we had just won the super cup, champions league and finished 2nd in the league.

A lot can change form one season to the next superyids. I'm talking about the here and now not the there and then. I'm talking about this season, what's done is done. Yes, you are right, they have done all that but this season I see weaknesses that weren't there last season. Their defence was wide open at times and Chelsea had a lot of chances, also their outfield players were not on the same wavelength. They drew with a thrashed team, let's see.

But THIS season they have won a game 4-1 and also won a trophy
    That’s the here and now
