I doubt we will continue scoring last minute winners in every other away game, I agree. But we are without doubt one of the fittest teams in the league and it is clearly not a coincidence we've got those late winners. We've regularly looked better than our opponents in the back end of games despite often out running them in terms of distance.

Christian Eriksen is 22 years old, and has played 252 senior games, plus his next Denmark cap will be his 50th.

Hugely impressive numbers! Off the top of my head, I can only think of Neymar currently having more at a similar age.

Bentaleb completed every single pass he attempted in tonight's game against Ivory Coast (54). Not bad when you're up against Yaya Toure in the middle...

That goal is Harry Kane's 25th goal of the season. He is the first Spurs academy product to reach that milestone in three decades.

Also today's team is the youngest starting eleven by any Premier League team this season. It's our second youngest starting XI in the Premier League era (Swindon, 1993/94).

Kane is only the fourth player in PL history to score in six successive away games (Drogba, Van Persie, Sturridge).

Our last 14 goals have been scored or assisted by a homegrown player.

Of the total 24 scorers/assisters in those 14 goals (4 goals with no direct assist), 17 have been by a homegrown player.

These are my own numbers from going back through the goals, so can't absolutely guarantee 100% accuracy!

    1. Tottenham have had more shots (172) than any other side in Europe's top five leagues in 2016, averaging one every 4.2 minutes. To add more context to that, here is the Premier League top 5. We are so far ahead :eeek

    Tottenham (172)
    Man City (119)
    Liverpool (118)
    Arsenal (115)
    Everton (113)

    2. Eriksen's game yesterday by numbers:

    Most shots at goal (6)
    Most passes completed (59)
    Second most chances created (3)
    Most take-ons (3)
    Most ball recoveries (10)
    Second most interceptions (5)

    3. Tottenham have recovered 17 points from losing positions in the Premier League this season, comfortably more than any other side (Leicester in 2nd with 10).

    4. And something to get our hopes up before our Europa League tie...

Heung-Min Son netted five times in his last five matches against Dortmund!

    Least defeats in a PL season - 8 2010\11+12\13 (currently 4)

does anyone know the highest GD tallys in the premiership era. we surely can't be a million miles away from whatever it is.

off the top of my head i'm gonna assume Chelsea in 05 and arsenal in 04 have strong ones.

If Lloris had let in every single shot he's faced in the last 4 games, we'd still have taken 10 points out of 12

Total (Combined) - Name - Goals - Assists
    28 - Harry Kane - 24 - 4
    28 - Christian Eriksen - 11 - 17
    26 - Dele Alli - 19 - 7
    23 - Heung-Min Son - 18 - 5

Those are our top 4 contributors to goals in all competitions this season. Two things:

    1. How long has it been since we had 4 different players all contributing to over 20 goals in a season? Still enough time for all 4 to potentially get to 30 too!
    2. I would love to see similar stats for other PL teams. It's hard to gauge how impressive (or perhaps unimpressive) this actually is.
