Getting There: Went on the train, got off at Bletchley and its an absolute pain in the arse. Takes about 30 minutes to walk, and unless you know where you're going its hard to find. Went when they played Watford pre-season, and thankfully there were a number of Watford fans heading to the ground, the majority of whom, seemed as bamboozled as me as to where the ground was. Its located behind an Ikea store, and really is hard to find. Wasn't impressed at all. 3/10

Car Parking: Looked to be lots and lots of car parking around the ground, so at least that's one thing its got going for it. Not sure if you can park at the ASDA nextdoor, but that had a huge car park. 8/10

View and comfort: View was ok. Not good, because the stands are so shallow, and I was tucked into some corner. Comfort is ok, as the seats are padded, however the downside is you can really sink into the seats, and it feels too cosy almost to be watching a football match at the same time. 6/10

Catering: Didn't try it. Looked the usual expensive plastic type of shite though. 4/10

Atmosphere from Home & Away Fans: Watford fans excellent. Mk fans ok. Notwt special though as it was pre-season afterall. 4/10

Pubs, things to do nearby: There was a pub to pass. However, unless you need to do the weekly shopping at ASDA or want some garden stuff or a leggy blonde from Ikea, its not that good. Sems to be in a too commercialised place. 5/10

Overall Ground & Day Out Rating: Didn't like the ground one bit from the outside. It doesn't even look like a stadium. Inside its much better, but still needs a lot of work doing to it to tidy the appearance of the ground up. Day out was ok, however, the ticket situation was a nightmare. Watford fans were told they could pay at the turnstile, yet everyone had to queue at the ticket office for a ticket, meaning queues stretched back for miles and miles, and kick-off was delayed by 10 minutes. Even when the game did kick-off, the queue for tickets must have been something like 300 deep. Oh, and the game was 0-0 and I got cramp walking home from Donny station when I got back. I've had better days, put it that way. 5/10

Is it possible/relatively idiot proof to walk this from Milton Keynes Central station? We'll be drinking in MK.

From MK Central you'll have to roughly follow the A5. I reckon that'd be an easier walk then from Blecthley.

Should be finished during the close season. Winkleman's consortium have sold the last plot of land to Marks & Spencers for a large store. According to the local press that will release enough funds to complete the stadium.

    Getting There:

Went by coach, and even they got lost. There are no sign posts anywhere. It probably didn't help that it was an evening game and you can't see much in the dark. Police escort out to help us find way back to motorway. 2/10

    Car Parking:

Seemed to be ample spaces for Car Park, but are the fans allowed to use them? (Shrewsbury weren't, thats why I'm asking) 6/10

    View and comfort:

View wasn't that bad, but the padded seats were too much. Its a game of football, not the theatre. Though watching MK is like a pantomime. I included some pictures below of the view from my seat. 8/10

    Catering:

I asked for a hot dog and got a burger instead due to them running out. Same story at every ground. Never enough stock. Wasn't bad. but nothing to shout about. 4/10

Atmosphere from Home & Away Fans:

MK Dons were so quiet. For a team top of the league, you would have thought the fans might be a little vocal. Us away fans sang throughout. Whether we could be heard from the corner is a different thing. We were isolated from the home fans. 6/10

    Pubs, things to do nearby:

Didn't sample a pub, but then, there wasn't one close by that I could see. Asda on site though is a good thing if you want alcohol. Cheap beer from a can. The amount of fans doing there weekly shopping after the game is funny too (so a mate told me). 3/10

Overall Ground & Day Out Rating:

The ground from the outside is not impressive. But inside, it does look very good. The entry system is not needed. Looks like a railway station with the ticket swipe etc. The ground will be a lot better though when completed. All they need now is a few more fans to fill it. 5/10

Getting There: Went on the train, got off at Bletchley and its an absolute pain in the arse. Walking through an industrial estate trying to find everything is a challenge. Not helped by the fog on the way back. 1/10

Car Parking: Suppose there was enough with there being an ASDA nearby. 7/10

View and comfort: Not a brilliant view from the corner and padded seats just aren't football. 5/10

    Catering: Overpriced like anywhere 5/10

Atmosphere from Home & Away Fans: Not helped by over-zealous stewards but a reasonable atmosphere created by away fans. Home fans appaulingly quiet. Couldn't hear them cheer when they scored due to celebration music! 5/10

Pubs, things to do nearby: ASDA for cheap alcohol. You can get your weekly shopping there but nothing else really close by. 3/10

Overall Ground & Day Out Rating: Reasonable day 5/10

Getting There: Went by road, and it was quite hard to find really no real signs until you get like 2 mins away from the ground. 2/10

Car Parking: Plenty of car parking spaces. 8/10

View and comfort: Pretty decent view from directly behind the goal, obviously don't sit down every week so sitting down was quite different actually. 7/10

Catering: Didn't get any, so wouldn't know. 5/10

Atmosphere from Home & Away Fans: Wasn't the best of game for atmosphere, hard to really generate an atmosphere in such a big stadium. MK hardly sang tbh, and when it was it was the same song. 5/10

Pubs, things to do nearby: Wen't ASDA the 1st time I went and seemed quite chaeap, didn't see much else really. 5/10

Overall Ground & Day Out Rating: Good day out, even more so as we won 8/10

Getting There: Coming in I thought it would be well signposted, but the only reason how we found it was because we were lost, but came upon a car with a Dons scarf in the back window, so I just followed him in, well handy!
If not we would've had no chance. 3/10

Car Parking: Plenty of car parking spaces. 8/10

View and comfort: Good view, but I am quite a traditionialist, and didn't like the cinema style seats. 6/10

Catering: Didn't get any, so wouldn't know. 5/10

Atmosphere from Home & Away Fans: We were quiet, (as ever), but the DOns sang quiet a lot, but it was the same song "MK ARMY" They need more fans to sort the atmos really. 5/10

Pubs, things to do nearby: We knew it would be shit actually in MK, so we stopped at The Beehive pub, in the village of Deanshanger, about a 10 min drive away, towards Buckingham. Excellent food and drink, nice staff too 8/10

Overall Ground & Day Out Rating: Same for me as in like a multi storey from the outside but nice inside, but not the greatest day out. 6/10

Getting There: Easy enough, well sign posted. 9/10.

Car Parking: £5 to park in a bog. 1/10

View and comfort: Too coomfortable, give me a rugged bit of terrace any day. 2/10

    Catering: Crap and overpriced. 1/10

Atmosphere from Home & Away Fans: Home fans were crap, we sang but I doubt we were heard as the home fans are so bloody far away! 3/10

Pubs, things to do nearby: Went to some shit pub called the Beacon, wouldn't recommend. 1/10

Overall Ground & Day Out Rating: Big new bowl, I hated it. -1/10

Yes, I was chatting to a steward, and at present it holds 22,000, but is licensed to hold 19,000.
    It will eventually hold 32,000.
There is also a hotel on the one side along the top.

    Getting There:
Went on a minibus. Found it hard to find as it was signposted until you were nearly there. The amount of roundabounts in Milton Keynes made you sick before you got there. The city really is a dump and getting there even worse.

    4/10

    Car Parking:
Sh1tloads of parking as the ground is in the middle of nowhere, still plenty of building work to do especially round the back end by the clubshop. No problem with the carparking. However the stewards are a bit dense mind regarding exiting after the game.

    8/10

    View and comfort:
Has to be one of the best grounds in the country for comfort. The seats are lovely and padded and if you support MK Dons and suffer with piles you're match experience is not runied one bit.

The view was splendid from either the away end corner or behind the goal. A ground fit for the Prem, and when they get the top tier done a ground fit for a Euro/World cup here in England.

    9/10

    Catering:
Don't bother a complete rip off. For two chips and pies and 2 soft drinks it would have came to £15. Lucky I'm not saft and waiting till after for a £3 kebab on the way back

    1/10

Atmosphere from Home & Away Fans: It was a pre-season friendly so I can't really comment

    n/a

    Pubs, things to do nearby:
The nearest pub was a mile away so we had to make do with Asda for a beer. Saved ya a few quid mind

    3/10

Overall Ground & Day Out Rating:
I absolutley love the Stadium MK. This really is going to be a bostin ground when complete. The day itself I can't really comment as it was a friendly. No real atmosphere so I would have to go one day for a league game. But the ground was a knock out for me.

5/10 for game:- 9/10 for the ground
