Laughable they think a Friday is better than a early kick off

All day getting tanked up and you have 30,000 to worry about after getting pissed .....

Compared to after the game when the majority have gone home

    Makes sense :drunk12:drunk13:laugh:

Plus thousands more who have got tanked up watching it in boozers across the city.
Think many flashpoints will be in boozers, where both sets of fans are watching it, though alot of boozers will be either Wednesday only or United only.

Jesus christ that is a negative Wednesday side. 5-3-2 with no pace anywhere. Different for United as they don't tend to play negatively.

I'm assuming all the neutrals are supporting Wednesday tonight?

Suppose that's job done for Wednesday....typical away set up/style but from what I hear about this new manager I wouldn't be expecting much attacking expansive football while he is in charge.

I watched it on SKY and I agree it wasn't great! As soon as they brought that donkey Nuhiu on Wilder should have put more up front.

The team picked itself thanks to injuries.

    Steven Fletcher
    Kieran Lee
    Barry Bannan
    Tom Lees
    Fernando Forrestieri
    Joost Van Aken
    Gary Hooper
    Almen Abdi
    Jack Hunt
    Sam Hutchinson
    Kieran Westwood

..and it was George Boyds first game back last Sat after a 6 month layoff.

I'm very much a cup half empty person in football terms but I think we did very well all things considered.

That doesn't mean he can't be a defensively minded coach......that is his reputation they are saying.

Dull, dull game other than one good save from either keeper. They came to nullify us and it worked. It's a testament to how far we've come in such a short space of time that they had to do that last night.

We had plenty of the ball and we moved it around well enough, we just lack that extra bit of quality to break down teams who sit back.
