SH is a nice chap, Leo.
This thread has offered more entertainment than anything else I'll be doing this evening. Love a good meltdown
You drink Fosters? (coming from the bloke who's drinking John Smith's)
May well be mate but he's showed himself up this afternoon as someone who thinks he can be a smart arse but ultimately fails big time!
Hope it has cured your ailment mate.....Keep in mind....Morgans Spiced....(just mentioned that to wind you know who up)....
Damn it....another post mentioning that drink.
I'm sick of hearing about it now mate
Nah, I'm British mate....SH is hurting.....
That's okay....I'll only mention it if someone else brings it up....Considerate I am.
Does anyone know if Morgan is Captain for Leicester this weekend?
If he is he may well spice it up my man....
I completely get that.
I rarely touch spirits these days, they make me hang like **** if I have a proper session. Would only be gin or vodka now though if tempted.
Used to love single malt... drank gallons of Lagavulin when in Scotland visiting my mum. I'd burp it for days after
It's a nice drop that. My go to whiskies are Macallan Gold and 10 year Glenmorangie, but love try different ones. Scotland is awesome for whisky, I much prefer their to Irish or American stuff.
How do you drink yours? I like them as they come, no ice or mixers.
Same, always neat and tidy
I like Oban.
Cork , not screw top , think Isle Whiskies more peatier than Mainland though not an expert , my bro in law is from Paisley & has a vast collection.
Tequila used to be my drink downfall , I woke up once with my head wedged between the bog & cupboard at side , in stinging nettles , I disarmed some lunatic with a broken bottle , fell in a dike & couldn't get out , went to work on Monday morning & one of my colleagues was saying she & her husband could hear someone shouting for help , they went out & had a look but couldn't see anything , I asked her where they lived & put 2 & 2 together & thought , shit that was probably me.
Thankfully , I other than Single Malt at Xmas don't touch spirits anymore , but on the downside , I discovered Mead
I like Oban, got a bottle on go at minute.
Never drank tequila though, other than in cocktails. What's it like taste wise? Sounds like its pretty strong based on your experience.
Mead is nice, but a little sweet for me. Although I do drink the occasional sherry at Christmas for my Nan.
Like all spirits , Tequila makes you pull a face but gives me an energetic buzz.
We have the 2nd biggest canvassed beer festival in the UK in Pboro 3rd week in August which lasts for 5 days & after all the good Ciders / Perries run out always have a Half of Mead 14% & £7.50 which usually leads to some crazy dancing & then end of my beer fest for the year.
That sounds like a pretty good festival. They never stock many Ciders etc at beer festivals. One of my mates doesn't like beer so he has same problem when we go to them. Drinking 14% mead sounds like a recipe for disaster, but the start of a great night. You're a braver man than me! Although if it leads to crazy dancing, I might be missing out. Crazy dancing nights are always the best.
Spirit drinking pussies, get yourself a real mans drink like strongbow dark fruits xx
Hope it doesnt kick off with the wrong choice of rum
