Should have been more, pathetic performance, but a long way to go. Ramsey and Alfredo back into the team asap and glad of the return of Ryan Jack. Going to need them all

Night and day that performance yesterday. Shows how important Alfredo is for us. A real shake-up in the team selection which worked a treat. Lundstram looked brilliant yesterday and we have still the true effect of Aaron Ramsey to come, hopefully with his first start on Wednesday night. All brings a bit more optimism and reality back to the table, happy days

Very interesting interview with Steve Conroy coming out this morning. Fascinating that it hasn't yet made itself worthy of a thread with the usual biased referee howlers. Why might that be? :shrug

Rangers 7-0 Edinburgh this last week, that'll do nicely.

Great way to bounce back and some great performances again. I'd single out Lundstram for a second game in a row and Alfredo has been back at his brilliant best since he returned. What a huge player he is for us.

All despite a simply ridiculous performance from Nick Walsh. Possibly one of the worst in a while. Luckily it wasn't enough to cost us

Very impressive perfoemance, but the tie should probably be over. Dortmund are capable of scoring 3 without reply.

    Absolutely.

Although Dortmund was shocking yesterday (the same we could already see in the CL group stage where they couldn't qualify in one of the easier groups) that shouldn't minimize Rangers great effort yesterday.

    Well deserved!

Have you seen the match on tv? There was also a HSV banner in the stadium. So HSV fans made the journey to Dortmund, too, to support...not Dortmund but Rangers. There's a long fan-friendship between Rangers and HSV.

Tbh I wouldn't mind if Dortmund fails at Ibrox, too. But as @PorkchopExpress wrote, they are still capable to reverse the result, especially if Haaland is available for the return leg.

Outstanding performance and another famous victory in the week we celebrated 150 years of our famous club. I think it just shows you what a difference it makes when we are near full strength, Ryan Kent, Ryan Jack, Alfredo and Lundstram were all fantastic on Thursday and nobody was less than good. Bassey deserving of a mention for doing a job for us in there again. The lad has really stood up and been counted. The bounce back from what seemingly was a one off, nothing performance from us a couple of weeks ago has been as good as it could possibly have been and fills me with confidence going forward into the business end of the season.
Got to be very wary of course that it's a world class outfit we're playing again next week and it's only half-time. Whatever happens we can be proud of the effort in Germany, but we should be equally confident as we are aware of their quality. Looking forward to next Thursday.

But crucially, we must win this weekend first.

That's gotta be a fake quote.

Bad result for Gers today! Away form has been poor

Really poor not to be able to get it over the line yesterday. Hard to believe we didn't score another and hard to believe we didn't get at least one, probably 2 penalties also.
Unfortunately the decisions have all been going against us recently and totally in favour of the other lot at the same time. Got to expect that at times though and it doesn't excuse another really bad result. Too many draws, but we move on. Would be more worrying if we weren't creating any chances

Seem them all say this. Yet they can't name any decisions apart from a Kyogo bawhair offside call that has potentially won us a game we could have dropped points in.

Put it this way, ask any Aberdeen fan or and fan of Scottish football and they will tell you Rangers have stole 2 points in the games against them this season.
Or Motherwell last minute clear offside.
Or Livi not scoring after a clear handball from Goldson.
Or Hearts not getting a penalty when the game was in the balance for.....you guessed it another Goldson handball.

We all have decisions go for it against during a season but as far as I am aware Rangers are the only side to get calls in their favour when the really really NEED it.

    Penalty Rangers.

Bit of fan appeasement. It's an old trick. Don't look at the debt look at the world class player we can attract who will be lucky to play 10-20 times because he is made of glass.

Looks like Celtic are taking Rangers to Australia as part of the "Ange Homecoming" tour.

Look like Rangers will be hanging onto the coat-tails of the Celtic reserves to get some exposure in Oz.

Gers fans are unhappy in twitter. Not sure how I feel about it myself. Someone said the money they receive is bigger than what the SPFL give them?

I personally don't really have an issue with it. I know 90% of fans from both clubs hate the idea.

Both clubs will self promote it and both clubs will make upwards of £3-4 million from it (if rumors are true) initially with the potential for more to be made in the future.

It's a glorified reserve side friendly as players will be away for the World Cup.

I hope the fans from Australia enjoy themselves.
